Lol, give yourself more credit! I thought it was pretty cool... Btw, I have a new TAS up, I don't usually post my videos on here, but what the heck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLLwzLq20tk Just like in Numeric's Samus TAS, I overused the Super Wavedash, lol. Decided to try out some music and texture hacks as well. A little more variety to make things interesting.
Thanks :O (I'm happy you told me this, cos your TAS inspired me, and they were much better than mine!) Also, concerning the fox glitch, yeah it's pretty much because of 20XX edition

Correct, not going to happen... One might think that we're sticking with IRC mainly because our founding fathers or current administrators are old farts, but in truth, aside from that, it is because IRC is open (and still developed: http://ircv3.net/) and there's a huge variety of free and open client and server software, and your comparative discontent with IRC might not actually be a fault of the protocol, but of the client. Having open server software completely puts the network under the community's control (in this case Freenode's), but we could roll our own if we ever wanted (also: bots). If you want VoIP, simply run a Mumble server or similar and invite people there.
Ah, I didn't knew that IRC was open, definitely my bad then, sorry for bothering you guys :P

I know it won't happen, I'm just asking this as curiosity: what could be the reasons that would make not possible TASVideos IRC to Discord: it's better in almost every ways, only problem would be the bots for submissions in my opinion, but I'd like to see what you guys can found! :D

An interesting commit showed up on the network graph. https://github.com/dragonbane0/dolphin/tree/c9f12fc67412deba995102dfc771f53f46a37a41/Source/Core/Core/LUA Person is working on Wind Waker (You can see a function in .h for superswimscript), obviously this is not generalized for every game use, but it's a nice start. Hopefully this can be prepped better and moved over into master some day
lua in dolphin would be good! we still have ce tho!

Bizhawk TASes are supposed to be edit friendly, just rename the bk2 extension to zip one and open it with winrar, you can edit the inputs etc

Wii save data not working when TASing is a known issue. 4.0-6512 disabled NAND access to make avoiding desyncs easier (mainly for netplay, but it does the same for TASing), but this unfortunately also means that it isn't possible to load save data. Older versions can boot ELF files, they just don't show up in the game list. If no game is selected in the game list and Paths > Default ISO isn't set to anything and the last thing that you booted was the ELF file, I think it will let you TAS it. It's not intuitive at all, though...
I think that means Rayman Origins is TASable?

Dolphin 4.0-6512 (in June 2015, which is after the TAS was made) removed the ability for TASes and netplay to use files on the Wii NAND but did not affect regular usage. I don't know for sure if that's the reason the game doesn't work, but it seems likely.
Ah, that seems logical, thanks for explaining! :D

ayy, I should test it one day, but yea anyway that would be kinda pointless as the graphics are messed up in hardware mode (even in latest pcsx2) and desync friendly, no tas input and ram watch

This idea is stupid! For me, it's better to get to round 20±3 and open all the areas in Kino; collect from the box some the most useful/useless weapons and show what they can do; use only knife when zombies run from all directions; shoot from the hip from MP-40 and, with the help of TAS Input, aim all the bullets straight into zombies' heads. In general, make the real TAS! But, first of all, we need a player, who is really going to make sth like that! That will be so difficult.
Just tested Black Ops Zombies on Dolphin and it the game hangs because of missing files for Wi-Fi/Server connectivity. (Even though you are going to be clicking on 'Solo') So a Zombies TAS is not possible. The same happens to Spec Ops mode for Modern Warfare 3. So the only options are PC and Xbox/PS3 (Of course when they are TASable with sync-stability.)
Dolphin wiki doesn't mentions at all zombie not functionnal, and moreover how has the guy made TAS? I'm probably wrong but eh xD

Replayed it few month, had this game as a kid, could do a fun broken TAS, you can pass through quite walls using ennemies so they can eject you :P. Also, I'd suggest to test the rangers, because they're all differents, if I remember correctly the fastest is the Blue Ranger.

Hey Lapogne nice to meet you. Personally I agree with any% being quite awesome, I just think you could do crazy TAS strats in no img or something. Stuff that just isnt possible normally and would look crazy. Thats what interests me about NG+
I think you posted 4 times, but I agree with you! NG+ has some crazy strats with the hoverboots, you can boost, strafe jump and keep your momentum (dunno if you can infinite momentum tas wise) and it'll be more destructive with Ryno Kappa

Guys, basically, now Dolphin uses static addresses, so you don't have to use pointers anymore, just search via cheat engine and each time you reset dolphin your addresses will stay the same :)
Unless it's a game like Kirby Air Ride, which I swear every course change changes the address for position, speed, etc. I support having a pointer scan like cheat engine for Dolphin because of cases like this.
yeah, I meant, you don't have to have a pointer for the game when he uses normal addresses, like for example rayman 3 address if bf0fa4, and start address is 7fff0000 (or 7ff0000, forgot which one was correct), then the address static would be 0x7ff0000/0x7fff0000 + 0xbf0fa4 and you can even cheat them :)

Ayy, I had game on my PS2, but I tried Dolphin on it, and it seems that Dolphin has so game logics problem from what I red (read?), VP6 videos are glitched out, and sometimes it goes randomly from 60fps to 0 :/
