Thanks for your report:
1.Nope, I tried it does not seems, the game still generate lag every 2 frames
2. The section where you climb between the parallel rocks looks unoptimized. I did everything at first frame
3.Movement in general looks good, but not perfect. But it may be because Rayman 2 doesn't allow very many angles. Yup it may be possible

Upon initial tests in the beta version of Bizhawk that supports n64, the glitch preventing us from completion does not exist. For those of you who remember, the cave of bad dreams boss would fall off the edge in an emulation error and the game would cease to function. The game does not do this with the with new version.

Just thinking would PS Rayman 2 (for a tas) create a different category to the n64 version due to level shrinkages and changes?
Like Resident Evil only difference is one was console and the other handheld (I don't know about major differences)

This is not desync on PSX but on Saturn, and the PSX can't be emulated at all.

I didn't watched whole run, I stopped watched it after first room. I made a first rough try with 69 rerecords, It took me 2 minutes and I optimised 114 frames at first door :/ Sorry, voting no.
