Tornado Man Concrete Man Finishing up the holiday festivies soon so I'll stay in the chatroom you mentioned for now, but I think our time zones are pretty far apart. Can you send me your dtm? Also, yes, the link I posted for the concrete man boss fight zip glitch only shows the discussion that arose afterwards; I can't find the video anymore. I do remember seeing it years ago, though, and there was definitely some funny business going on there. It has to do with the way concrete man shoots his first volley of concrete shots. I believe he got hit by one and then was forced through the floor by another, after which the boss instantly died. Like I said though, nothing I tried forced me through the floor. I already analyzed the concrete shot zip to find the most effective use of it. Basically, you run through it as it forms until you are one frame past the halfway point, and then jump for maximum zip. Double/triple zips are also possible as I used in the video I posted.
If your dtm doesn't play it's pretty normal, you should try to replay them on the same dolphin version and it should sync, what version you used? :P And, these runs uses w.Switching no?

The time loss I got in my earlier version was because I did a better boosting at the second last scorpion, at the last scorpion I needed to slow down a bit to get rid of the invulnerability frames. Now with the worse boosting the invulnerability frames end right when I'm at the last scorpion, and finishes the level as fast as your's, being 0.5 pixels ahead. The guy at frame 1225 moves to the right in my version, which means he can't shoot me after I boost off him.

I agree with sonicpacker. I doubt mindnomad asked for permission to upload those to YT, so he should at least make them unlisted. It’s what I did when I uploaded a Mario Kart 7 WR for archivial purposes when the runner deleted his YT ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xCXvURpGGA ). As far as the TAS goes, I like watching single-star runs of SMG2 but a full game run bores me…
I love the TAS though, but Mindnomad credited it in description, so he have rights to do it.

As well they shouldn't. The site managers didn't make all those runs, nor should they be paid for it. I've made it known my future runs won't be submitted here without confirmation of rights to my work. I recommend others do the same...before someone takes your work and reuploads it. :)
Egh, there's actually no point of what you saying. When I was the first person to upload exclusive Inazuma Eleven techniques (no one has seen it, I was the first one to upload it on YouTube), I've got like 100k views and I did no money thing, because I'm not doing YouTube as money, but as a hobby. Also, many peoples downloaded my video and reuploaded it, but I don't give a f*** about it! Also, guys, which SMG is your favorite one for TASing? SMG1 or 2 ?

lol. How's angle and speed optimization with analog inputs harder than things like subpixel optimization, which you probaply never heard? Old consoles don't have analog input with 65k possibilities, which makes deciding optimal inputs more complex.
LOL. That's the dumbest post I've read on this entire site. Congrats, that's a HUUUUUUGE accomplishment.
a bigger lol. I see you have no idea what you're talking about (case of Dunning-Kruger-Effect). Just because the game is simple when played normally doesn't mean it simple when TASing. I don't even know how I should describe it to you ... . Or why do you think NES TASes aren't finished in one day, damn, look at MESHUGGAH for example. When doing subpixel optimizations you don't just rewind one frame and change one input for some angle or whatever, you go back up to 10+ frames and test a shitload of possibilities with 2 (Sometimes with other buttons) directional buttons, it get's even harder with cycling speed. You can't predict the subpixel value after these 10 frames according to the inputs you make, for 3D angle optimizations you can make a prediction according to your inputs.
go tie 1 sm64 wr that isn't under 10 seconds (or even one of those) and tell me 3d isn't 100000000x more complex. this shouldnt even be an argument. optimizing in 3d is obviously more difficult and time consuming. 4 directions vs a range of 128 to -128 in both directions. please. stahp. as long as you have memory watch, you can TAS any 2d game and optimize it well. that simply isn't true with 3d.
Just to tip you,

See any difference? I just want to say, although SM64 might be an hard game to TAS, I'm saying back that it took 7 years to get awesome TAS. :P Oh, and also, If I was hesitating posting my Rayman 3 TAS, I've found improvement. So yeah, do it yourself, beat my TAS, I'm pretty sure if you'll do it, I'll come back and improve it more, there's actually no problem about this, I'm pretty sure you won't do it, as I know you're just saying this as an argue :D, everyone has its own TAS game skills.
