since thunder warrior couldn't get an EX turn, I just used Gross Warriror instead and spammed gambit (that attack from garr was probably superfluous, and aura did about the same amount of damage). And for the shisu, I suppose a little more manipulation could get me a wisdow fruit

it's 2x base damage plus the equivalent of a Spirit Blast/Mighty Chop (i.e. a Def-ignoring hit at 1/4 power). As such, critical hits are always stronger than hitting a 2x weakness.
does that include elemental damage?

the plant is now restored. On the rerun, I will definitely work on the defense formation abuse. Indeed : in narrow corridors, it's impossible to make the formation, hence greatly delaying battles.

back in McNeil. I guess I will still need dragon genes, at least for elemental fights. I can "only" do 32 hits with supercombo, and focus onlt seems to work for one turn

about to get my butt whupped by Garr. The elemental chrysm are really ueful, and so is the double blow. Thanks to Mastania, Ryu is now up to level 17. Let's see if the Claymore was so useful...

ok, now i'm panicking. I can't run ANYTHING on the emulator. what more, on the input bar, it shows that every single button is presses at the same time.

By my count, the fishing section takes currently takes about 3 1/2 minutes. I really have to wonder if McNeil manor would be that much slower without it
I have my doubts. The ghosts are very strong against anything else. I will test it on the rerun

just out of the McNeil manor. NOT killing teepo and rei was 1k frames shorter :(
a few things that will change in the future
- no need for the melted blade
- I will probably not need that many molotovs
- I guess Teepo and Rei could die more
- I need to master fishing more

question : is it possible to manipulate the outcome of a fishing pond? I want to fish 2 trouts near the farm in McNeil, but only one seems to appear at the time. The rainbow trout wasn't such a problem

I believe Janus will be going for the good ending, which means picking everything up, right
not in this game, as far as I can remember. I do hope the warrior gene (my favorite one) isn't too far off. Its fighter ability was my saving before crossing the great ocean
as for the turbo : er, I'm not familiar with LUA. how does it work? but thanks for the V synch, I will give it a try

The beginning, I'm up to the first village. I even found a (real-time) speedrun guide, whi9ch should be very helful. Although, for the first run, I did pick up a few more items, jsut in case...
