suggestions taken as for a 5th member... I will consider it, but only it the difference in frames is significant. and unfortunately, I can't do destruction. It requires legeon, and I'm nowhere near that...

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/71603877/Breath%20of%20Fire%20II%20%28U%29.smv now 1100 frames ahead after Evrai. there doesn't seem to be a way to heal enemies...

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/854556717/Phantasy%20Star%20IV%20%284%29%20%5B%21%5D.gmv I was able to get throught rykros. However - i'm almost out of star-dews - there's something I don't understand. When I try to warp to Silence Tm from the strength tower using frame-by-frame advance, Le Roof doesn't show up. But when I do it normally (as if it were on the real Genesis) it works. edit : by selling everything I have (including guard items I don't need), i can buy up to 9 star dews. I think I should pick them up from earlier...

I thought I could kill robots with it. But since I need to redo it at some point ( i don't think I need hyperjammer since I won't do circuit breaker), it will dissapear when I redo it

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1805106340/Phantasy%20Star%20IV%20%284%29%20%5B%21%5D.gmv it's a bit sloppy, but I got over DF3. I did level up a little (long live instant death), and I probably will do it in the trial towers on rykros

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1024322553/Breath%20of%20Fire%20II%20%28U%29.smv despite all my best efforts, i was only able to keep about 400 frames less than the original run. I hate fighting fat...

I was playing through a retranslation of BoF2, and it gave me an idea. The spirit monsters in SimaFort's basement can drop WiseBLs! Maybe you could grab one or two on your way through. Well they're not the easiest to kill at low levels (Chopchop could kill one) but it's an example.
you are free to try it ;) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/783076657/Breath%20of%20Fire%20II%20%28U%29.smv since I don't need shopping, I saved another 320 frames

Umm... Don't you mean 3400 frames ahead? If you are behind, then it's not good I suppose? Sorry for being picky, just want to make sure that I understand you correctly. If you're ahead though, then it's awesome. WOHO!!! :D
whatever :p. I hope I will be able to get the treasures from gumbious after it explodes. If not... anyway, I will probably need a restart at some point to gain experience/get items to withstand PD better

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1179738891/Breath%20of%20Fire%20II%20%28U%29.smv although there is no change in the number of frames, this run is better; battles with dragons are shorter

when I compared my runs, it's always against the best previous one unless othwerwise posted (the cooking run in BOF 2, e.g.)
Why'd you need to do that
i have 1500 reasons :p. No one will beat my run that easily

I haven't given up. I just noticed something else : macros are only advantageous if used more than once (unless I need a given order of attack, for a combo for example). After the Juza fight, I was 821 frames ahead (I picked the ceramic sword)

too many times :p And I'm restarting even further now. I noticed that the thunder DRAGON actually has the shortest animation (540 frames, fire dragon 554). The puppies can wait for the guardeyes...

http://rapidshare.com/files/272857719/Breath_of_Fire_II__U_.smv.html take 3. since I need 6 dragons, might as well use a puppy. saved 584 frames for the portal : a glitch, maybe? like the rock inside the skycave
