Will Golem's +12 STR soul help? You may kill the Golem very quickly with Manticore's soul. EDIT: Ahh, it's +12, not +8.

I got 320 HP. One rotten meat reduces my HP by 200, so I need 2 in order to get 1 HP. Besides, by unequiping Succubus at the right frame, it is possible to finish Graham off without getting +5 HP (I did so in my other run).
You would need just 1 piece of rotten meat if you took damage to get through enemies ;)

Recent ratings seem to be even much higher than normal, mostly caused by a few raters who constantly gives very high ratings to new submissions, while they never seem to be intereseted in published movies and thus their ratings aren't rised as high as newer movies'.

Looks awesome Yrr. I only have one question though, which I probably should have mentioned ages ago: Why get 2 rotten meats? One rotten meat is more than enough, as the small amount of extra HP you get back from using the succubus soul on graham aren't enough to impede on the bonuses given by the lubicant soul.
If it would matter much can't be told until actual tests are made.

I'm not familiar with SDL things, so I don't seem to update that really outdated SDL port. It's sad that my personal computer where all my code stuff lurks is down and unlikely to be repaired soon for some reasons.

I found it always crashes at the same frames like 826. Fastforward is required to skip them.

I'll be OK with TASing one more AoS movie myself after I finish a few halted runs, as long as you haven't been bored of seeing my name appear in GBA Castlevania submissions. (what poor game choices!) ;) EDIT:

I can't tell which is harder, Hidden World or High World. I may make a test run of Hidden World first as it is smaller than High World and thus shorter in theory. EDIT: "Small World" TAS v3 in 16:53.60! EDIT 2: For those who only want to see improvements since v2, here's the small list of visible improvements: * Level 7: I exploited the rock-edge-walking glitch to shorten the pushing distance. * Level 10: I pushed the rock to the right as soon as I fell to its left side. * Level 23: The same improvement as Level 7, but for simplifying drilling strategy instead.

I'll stick to Linking Model A as it is the easiest to implement... WIP screenshot: It doesn't work well at present, however it can be a good start.

Besides of slow movements, its graphics/sound effects aren't so great, and the cut-ins of special abilities will drive the speed-oriented TASer insane. The level design isn't as interesting as M-games or Castlevania's, while you have to travel to and fro a single level without any sequence-breaks. However, if you want to give it a try, I'll be watching your WIP's as long as I have spare time, but please don't expect much from me because I am not a pro on this game by any means. Well, a small trick: Try to back-dash off platforms and slash in mid-air. That somewhat reminds me of whip-launch in HoD. EDIT: Well, maybe you can compare this game with its sequel that is also on GBA.

Now you can interprete as you want, from my point of view, if they knew it, then they agreed to it (and thus fixed the bug...) Edit: removing the candle is probably as easy as to fix a crash, so my argument is very valid
How do you know that they knew the very crash and intentionally fixed it? Couldn't it be that they just tried to fix other things and this crash was unintentionally fixed by chance? This make sense if the crash was caused by wild pointers/uninitialized values etc.

Not to my surprise, the movie doesn't terminate properly as the last key input is stuck, which is common among edited .fcm movies. :( You see, I'll never rate any movie 10/10! Never! 8)

Since each enemy has an extra long hit-stun, I could have wandered around a little while beating the stuffing out of them, but I didn't.
LOL Cro-Maine.

I guess it is possible to get Warted or Feathered body in the final battle in Chapter 3 with extreme luck manipulation, as you did in the dino run.

Since printf() returns the number of characters written, and since the output ends when "1000 " has been written, you can (as I did) use printf(...)<5 as the condition for continuation, saving several characters.
Surprisingly, the double-for-loop one results in shorter code using the 'printf()' return value trick: 68 characters:
n=0;main(c){for(;n%7*--c?printf("%d ",n)<5:1;)for(c=++n;--c&&n%c;);}
69 characters:
n=0;main(c){for(;--c&&n%c||(n%7*--c?printf("%d ",n)<5:1)&&(c=++n););}
However, this trick only works with ranges 10^N :(
Warp wrote:
Btw, you seem to assume that 'c' has a certain value at the beginning of the program. Do I guess correctly that giving any parameters to the program will break it?
The only chance to crash the code would be to compute 'n%c' with 'c' = 0, but '--c&&' prevents that. The only period when 'c' is undefined by the program is the first time evaluating the conditional clause with 'n' = 0 until reaching '(c=++n)', while 'printf("%d ",n)' can be skipped since '0%any_integer_but _0' == 0, no matter what value 'c' is. EDIT: Well, I've read some ANSI C stuff and found that global variables can be implicitly initialized with 0: 66 characters:
n;main(c){for(;n%7*--c?printf("%d ",n)<5:1;)for(c=++n;--c&&n%c;);}

In C (71 bytes):
n=0;main(c){for(;++n<1001;n%7*--c&&printf("%d ",n))for(c=n;--c&&n%c;);}
EDIT 1: Or (71 bytes):
n=0;main(c){for(;n<1000;n%7*--c&&printf("%d ",n))for(c=++n;--c&&n%c;);}
EDIT 2: 1-character shorter (70 bytes):
n=0;main(c){for(;--c&&n%c||n%7*--c&&!printf("%d ",n)||(c=++n)<1001;);}
EDIT 3: Or (70 bytes):
n=0;main(c){while(--c&&n%c||n%7*--c&&!printf("%d ",n)||(c=++n)<1001);}
EDIT 4: Or (70 bytes):
n=0;main(c){while(--c&&n%c||(n%7*--c&&printf("%d ",n),c=++n,n<1001));}
I recommend the 3rd one (EDIT 2).
