ive downloaded nearly all of the nes and snes video on this site, and can play them all in divx / winamp / wmp, but the newest zelda ALTTP video does not play in any of them. is this a bisqwit-side problem or a me-side problem?

really? i didnt realize that sound effects were on the same copyright level as roms. i can close the thread if you would like me to. or a mod could.

does anyone have a link to a website with amazing smash brothers videos? my friend has some videos of the homerun contest and crule melee. But he also told me about this video with 3 roys a captain falcon. captain falcon does a move, roy counters, roy 2 counters the counter, roy 3 counters the countered counter, and it somehow hits captain falcon and does 350% damage in one hit. anyone have a link to this video and any other cool ones?

In theory, i would only have to play levels 1, 3, 5, 7,....basically skipping half the game, if i did it properly.
Level warps Accomplish the following tasks to warp to a new level. In level 1, when the thousands digit of your score is even, destroy 4 hatches (wtf is a hatch?) Warp to level 3 after defeating Core Fighter Destroy Xaerous Core at end of level 2 within 2 seconds of its core turning blue Warp to level 4 Destroy 10 stone heads in level 3 Warp to level 5 after beating level Level Skip Destroy the ship (the one at the end of each lvl) in 5 seconds and you'll obtain a warp to the level ahead of it.

I was thinking of time attacking this game. There are certain levels that you can warp from, and i believe that if you do it correctly, you can skip 3 stages. When i attempt this, im going to try to show off as much as possible like morimoto, except i will be using other upgrades. mainly: Speed x ? Lader Option x2 Shield Missle This is becuase, for a few of the warps, you must kill the end-level ship in less that 5 seconds. any thoughts on this before i give it a go?

I always thought that codes, unless they were for aesthetic purposes only (i.e. the no-suit samus code for metroid), we not generally supposed to be used in time attacks.

How feasible would a time attack for this game be? i know that once you "beat" the game, you must beat it again with the braclet . Is there a glitch that allows you to get the braclet in the first run through of the game? how long do you think this would take?

wow. thats very painstaking. i would be very impressed if there was any video for contra beaten withthe 2p/1p approach but without frame advance. hell, they can even die a few times. just beating the game with 2 guys at the same time is a feat in andof itself.

whoa whoa whoa, boco? you go to UF too? its a small world after all. im a freshman living in 420 hume west. p.s. i used to know how to use the ufl ftp without using WS_FTP. can you pm me and refresh my memory as to how to use it?

I can tell in tarzan2's video that he did that periodically. Sometimes at the end of some levels, both players move perfectly opposite each other, which would be VERY hard to do if you had to actually think about moving 2 different things, using ALL of your fingers at the same time to play a game.

well, i dont know if thats what they actually did, but if it is, it kind of takes away from the awesomeness of their movies. i mean, i can set the controls for the contra guys to be the same in side scrolling levels, and make left=right for player 2 on the base levels to make things interesting. but that would make for a boring time attack overall, becuase both would still be shooting at the same thing. maybe im just babbling like an idiot here, but thats just what i think.

This question is mainly directed at Tarzan2 and Phil How do you play a 2 player game by yourself? ive tried it before with contra, and its so difficult, my brain actually HURT after i beat the first level, which took about 50 tries. Then i said, "Alright, mayeb they didnt use both hands to control both characters...", as i proceeded to use my feet to control player 2. Oddly enough, this only took me about 10 tries to beat the first level of contra with, but it was no where near time attack material, and my brain hurt again. How do you guys do it? Whats your 2 player / 1 player config?
