i never even thought of that. i guess it is impossible then. thats so shitty that some of those glitches are nothing more than someones skill at photoshop. but, you should still be able to do this with kintaro / shao kahn, correct?

i saw this glitch about MK2 on this glitch site a couple months back. ive tried it MANY MANY times, but havent been able to actually do it.
Mortal Kombat 2 Play as other characters in 1P mode sent in by Digital Terror See photos of this glitch. http://kontek.net/davidwonn/mkombat2.html In a one player game, when picking the 1 player, pick your player 1 and then when the screen begins to fade out, hit start on the second controller (Timing has to be perfect), and the player 2 cursor will come up, but not announce a fighter for player 2 before the screen fades out. Now who ever the first players computer opponent is, that is who the second player is playing as (secret characters or bosses). After a few times of doing this trick, you can take the Secret characters, off their normal stage (Goro's lair) and play them in any stage (Check the screen shots). Also, when you play as the Secret characters, the normal characters you fight in the game (CPU) becomes very tough to beat, even with the Secret characters.
i was wondering if someone could make an smv file with someof these characters ready to be played. it would be great if, you decided to do it, you could make player 1 be the joining player, so player 1 will become the hidden character / boss. also, if you do it, post the version of the rom you were using (1.0, 1.1, E, U, etc.)

ya i know. way back in the day i made a flawless victory very hard run of MK2 with shang tsung, ,just like youre talking about. i believe i beat the game in 14 or 15 minutes, took zero damage, and never blocked. then i found out that it was one of the three or so games or game versions that desynched. the subzero deep freeze, change back to shang tsung, change into someone else, and fatality them idea sounds amazing. i would watch that over and over. it should be done with multiple fatalities. what would happen if you babailitied after a deep freeze?

What would be the best way to defeat an opponent? How fast can it be done? Anyone knows this?
im pretty damn good at MK2, and the fastes ive ever beaten someone / seen someone been beaten it 7 in game seconds, meaning, the in game clock was at 92 seconds. however, it is impossible to do this without a flawless victory, which will add a few seconds to your time. the fastest way ive seen is with kitana. you start the round with a jumping lowkick, then when you hit them, you immediately do an air fan. then jump in with low kick again, then sweep twice. then walk in a little an do a roundhouse kick, timed so you do it the imstant the enemy gets up. then one more jumpkick and theyshould be dead. this sounds like its difficult and time consuming, but its really not, it just takes luck. With rerecords, being lucky is nothing more than hitting load state enouhg times.

thanks a bunch phil. oh and just for the record, this site has made amazing progress. i remeber the old days when this site was nothing more than a list of about 30 nes games. now, its turned into a site thats not only easy on the eye, but its implemented a voting system, a way for members to submit games, and a very well organized forum. bravo bisqwit and crew. excellent job.

I just googled for it and found this page: http://www.dolphin-emu.com/
well, thats the thing. that is the site where i got the screen shots from and i did download the emulator they have on the site. but, like idiots, they ZIPPED the emulator, rather than .rar'ing it. and as most computer geeks know, when you ZIP something, folders within the directory zipped are al merged, as opposed to rar'ing it, which maintains each subfolder. since all of the subfolders have been merged into one big zip file, the emulator wont work, and i dont know what to name certain folders and how many there should be. im almost positive that at least one must be called "Plugin" or "Plugins", but thats just one. there could be a lot... thats why im curious if anyone has a WORKING copy, subfolders intact and all.

im sorry if this has been post to no end, but its been a long time since ive posted on these forums. i was wondering if blip or anyone has coded kaillera netplay into snes9x, and if so, where can i find it? also on a lesser note, is there a version of 9x out with the ability to remap the re-record buttons? also: is Snes9x 1.43-dev the newest version of 9x out?
