Link to video Improved Viscount battle in 4"66, I got a lot surprised by this improvment, while the bomb is performing the explosion action you can just shot 2 pelets per time, also while its damaging the boss your shots will not damage him, so I take advantage to charger a stronger shot and on the 2nd bomb I must charge 2 bars shot because its travels faster than turbo shots, my time using turbos shot after the bomb should be around 5"56.

It's fine. It was just meant to be a suggestion. I think I was just a bit overenthusiastic about it at the time with my emphasis, though, so I apologize for that. ^^; I really am interested in the work you're doing. Not only is it exciting to watch develop, but I'm learning a lot about the game that I didn't know in the process. :)
That's ok dear =D ... man I'm working on Viscount right now.... I discovered another thing about bombs use, while the bomb is dealing damage to the boss you cant shot on him, its kinda make him invulnerable on the explosion period, also I get a time to make a longer charger shot and shot him on the armor to deal a bit more of damage, the only problem is that I'm using 2 bombs on him, so the vulnerability will be a pain to deal, also when the first bomb ends he will immediately move across the screen, giving a hard moment to hit him, think I will have to abuse the "Adjust Aim" twice on him... maybe until the day ends I'm able to post the WIP... maybe not... Hey dun think your wips didnt provide something for me too ;p

Ah. Well, I guess that means it'll be even more impressive. As for Giga-Desp 1, cool. Figured it wouldn't hurt to mention that. It doesn't strike me as something one would pick up on right away (I only did last year), but given the job you've done so far with your WIPs I should have figured you knew already. As for Thanatos, I was just curious. Cool that you're constantly pursuing possible improvements on what you've already done before moving on.
I just said about Giga-Desp 1 not to offend please dont misunderstand, since on internet its hard to define if what people say are innocent or not , but its always good to hear from other people strategies about the game, there is always something missing that we may dont know, like Thanatos strategy about shot on shoulders then use bomb and shot his armor for instant kill, I never tought about such a hard but effetive way to kill him. ;p Its good to see there is people interested on this work, always feedingback the answers, its keep me motivated to keep the work on and try find the best way to pleases thoses people which wish to see this run TASed.

I really liked the Viscount battle. Did you redo it again since the previous WIP? It was really entertaining to see him get pummeled like that. How's work on the Thanatos battle going, by the way?
I'm already redoing Viscount battle, but its a bit slow because of lag, shots are very hard to be precise, sometime I have to wait 18 frames to shot the best shot possible plus hold the input for 2 frames to even be uploaded, also about Giga-Desp1 I'm already aware that if you let your charger on the minimum possible he may already shot you but if its at least 1 bar charged he will take a moment to shot yuou. Didnt began Thanatos yet due to Viscout possible improviment =/.

Hmm just asking but, if this get accepted for having the best ending, it will be added as a 3rd category of CHC and no one did a 2-Player version(which maybe should add a 4th category)but after thinking a bit if someone do a 2P run depending on the route it can just obsolet 1 of the old category right?

Comparing to others plataforms title the game is ridiculous... also there were times you couldnt even shot and you should be caught by lag, however, the TAS is well done and hope this one becomes a challenge. Yes from me.

Voted "No, with rare exception", on arcade game DEATHS are enough([for me] even looking a bit ugly) since many arcades games gives you few lives instead of 1 life to make you always use coins at every death, so abusing death is enough to save time instead of using an *infinite* resource of life ... and use of continues should be used only for GLITCH means.

For me this one deserves being published due to being well done, he aimed for fastest time and did quite a good work, also like I said before, this one is at list of ideia which will reduce it list if this get accepted.

I did watched your Wips, very nice work, most of them you got the best strategy but maybe you could have manipulated Garam for jump immediately? on Wong you did a impressive time, but just asking, using a bomb earlier should have damaged him during the battle? but I think there is not much difference on using earlier... on Griffin I noticed your last shot was on his leg, wow I didnt know he should get damaged heavily there, and on Viscount I think he died somehow from the same glitch like Arachnus? his life wasn´t empty then suddenly it keeps going down then he died, nice one there too ;p Also I made my decision about Viscount battle, I'm going to use bomb on him, if my calculation are right I will not even need to shot on his legs if I use 2 bombs, bombs may take it out while already giving great damage to him, IF I'm right maybe its possible to save 3~4 seconds In-game time.

I got a WIP of this game at the snes thread, if want to take a look maybe we can do it together if you feel interested on this game. This one should be a nice contribution to expand it title since there is a NES version already and the SNES version isnt so bad, so its seem a good ideia .

Woa, pretty impresive times, about Viscount I didnt use bombs but if I use it can help save time but increases lag a lot but maybe not In-game time ,since his legs were both destroied it increases lag plus bomb will give a great lag , should I use bombs on Viscount then? Wong time is impressive too.

Watched the encode, the run was entertaining , but the continue use seem a bit unnecessary, even if you have to keep shoting for 5 seconds by just shoting with pistol, the first 2 deads were rather ok due to not having any weapon nor grenades, but then abusing that continue was rather disnecessary for me even if you keep shooting few seconds. If a TAS player represent a Godlike player then he will foregoe such a thing, will abuse the deaths in order to save time, but not continues to show how unnecesary this is. No!

Zakky I noticed your time at groken, are you using save states? if so, try a strategy that I know please, I still not tested on TAS but will test when I reach her, in the moment you destroy her second arm try always to let the energy gauge low , dont let any bar complet, it maybe can be a luck manipulation to make her not to shot her machine gun, and then when the tentacle comes out just shot it and try the same strategy to try make her skip her machine gun atack once again and open her body already, if this works maybe you will get a time around 20~25 seconds, will depends ALOT about luck manipulation... Oh perhaps, dont need to rush to post you work.

Oh ya, if you can provide that please would be nice to watch it, are you going to use Falcon?

Please do. I enjoy playing Metal Combat immensely, and I imagine doing a TAS would be fun too; plus, laranja has already proved (to me) that it's fun to watch.
Hia , thankies, hope its worth entertaining and technicaly good to make it worth a TAS... EDIT: forgot to say, I'm already on progress with anubis now, probably will use same strategy as my first attemp, shoulders seem to be the weakest parts which also allow to break the armor faster... legs seem to be vulnerable too but damage less to armor...and will need to adjust aim too if im going to hit his shoulders because the aim is desynced due to Griffin fight but since I'm aiming for In-game time its not a big problem

I think rail light gun style shooters aren't suitable for TASing. I mean, it'll surely look like a pro playing the game. A TAS is about playing better than the best human ever. I think you should consider another game. I'm afraid it would be rejected.
I'd love to do a Super Scope game still. Maybe I can find a game that provides more control beyond a rail shooter like Yoshi's Safari.
Well, there is Battle Clash and his sequel Metal Combat- Falcons Revenge(which I'm working on right now), thoses games require precise and calculated shots to kill the enemy in the fastest time possible, both are good options to TAS... there is another super scope game too I remember i plaied it a bit, its about a japanese/chinese ninja going throught a battlefield doomed, he can throw shurikens and use a kunai as weapon to close target and also to parry enemy shurikens, but I dont remember the name, he can be controled by D-Pad and can be configured to Super-Scope too. Another game I know that Super scope works is Tin Star, however there is already a rejected run but the autor aimed for highest score, which made him stop various times during the process, doing it kinda straight forward is good but need also planning to entertain the viewers because the game may be a bit boring!

Aright watched it, my vote is Meh! the technical quality is 10 but this code, seem more to a bad programming code ... if this get accepted I should say it could go to the hack/demo/other section because of the use of it...

I agree in somes point with mister epic, the game doesnt show much about terms of control adversity... and there isnt much moves to show in a super scope, thats also my guess why most people dont show interests in superscope games...
