What? No. That's not true at all. Grunt is hypothesizing that it might work because a partial run synced with a different memory card (which itself didn't have a verification run either). Regardless of his hypothesis, I spent quite a while working with the actual submitted run and its author. He was working on an attempted verification run, but it was NOT syncing against that run's memory cards. Perhaps a solution would have been found (lag frame here, lag frame there?) but the premature acceptance of the submission cut all of that investigation off.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. Unfortunately, past mistakes don't get unpublished, do they?

meh. If we didn't want the endless parade of new 3-post-morons from some "community" every time a movie is submitted, we should have banned swordless a while ago. If we were concerned about verifiable accuracy, we should have never accepted any mupen movie ever. And seeing as how there's already at least one published sram stapled run without a verification movie, why not another?

The "SHA1" line of the movie header actually holds the hash that the rom was identified with. If the rom is not in any of the databases, it will always be in SHA1. If the rom is in the database by MD5 or CRC32, that will be used instead. There are also some other variations for things like CD games...
In this case, the Master System\Game Gear gamedb entries are all by CRC32, so whenever one identifies correctly, that is what will be used.
Yeah, that's a bit icky, isn't it...

Well, I was able to accomplish it with a few lines of code modification to Bizhawk, but I don't know if it's worth adding as a feature.
Any shader-based emu should be able to do it with a simple shader.

If GBA was ported, would it be possible to work with Dolphin?
RachelB explained what was meant by this to me. It's certainly a possibility, I'd have to look into it. If our eventual GBA core is flexible enough, I'd hope that these sort of additions would be possible, but we'll see..
Yeah, even loading a GBC game in GBA mode is a possibility for a few games like Shantae..

I... what? I don't understand what you're saying. There are a few possible options for GBA emulation under examination, but what does that have to do with Dolphin?

Additionally you are being clearly facetious about your statement because if you look at sales of consoles (regardless of if they are PS3 PS4 XBox 360 Wii WiiU NDS Vita PSP) Nintendo is in the lead since late 2005 when the XBox 360 (starting this generation) came out clearly indicating their censorship has not turned them into a joke.
An entirely different claim than the one you advanced a few minutes ago... but thanks for wasting my time!

What? Wii-U has only sold about 2 million units to 70+ for each of PS3, 360.
Well the PS4 and XBox 720 which are at the same generation as the WiiU have sold a combine 0 units so Nintendo has sold infinitely as many.
Pointless speculation much? We don't know when the PS4 and XBox 720 will be here, or exactly what they will be. When they come out, then we can talk about them.

First, as a side note to your argument, I like how you said Nintendo is a joke as it sits firmly at the highest sold home and portable console of this generation of systems.
