BizHawk Git (2017/05/11)
* C64 - fix framecount getting reset to 0 on savestate, not sure why it was broken teh way it was and why this is necessary but meh,
it is fixed and more like how other cores handle Frame anyways
Thanks, I will test! Edit: Framecount seems to work as expected, but lag counter reset every 2-3 seconds. ( rev master 1222b4d5)

Directly when I unpause BizHawk, when video dumping with Lagarith, as I said earlier,

With Lagarith, video dump died. But with raw uncompressed codec it work. The problem is, I don't know why, it's extremly slow, I think on average ~5-6fps (it's constantly move between 1 and 25 fps).
Edit: Test with BizHawk 1.12.2, with Lagarith without video resizing, video dumping work great. With video resizing, video dump die, but with a different error: Edit: Work with JK Lossless, at ~90fps, with video resizing.

Are you using the same file across different emulator versions?
No. I have different movie per version, each movie named by version of Dolphin I use. For the last test, version 5.0-2191 I recorded a brand new movie, because I didn't have one for this version.

Version 2 records fine but yeah when you resize the recording it slows down considerably, I'm not sure exactly what is causing this, must be using a lot of computing power trying to rescale, not sure there is anything I can do about it though.
Version 2 work fine with Lagarith too for you or video dump die like for me?

I try to update 1-2 times per week when I use Dolphin, so in the 2 last months, I've used 5.0-2191, 5.0-2538, 5.0-3202, 5.0-3305, 5.0-3334, 5.0-3354, 5.0-3463 and some others that I didn't keep. I've tried 5.0-2191 wich is older than the version you linked, it desync at ~50000 frames, but with DSP LLE, I will try later with DSP HLE. (Although I have never had problems in LLE with this game before.) Will test eventually with older versions too.

Edit: I think it's because of the change you made between the few last releases. So I test with a new movie file with the last release. Bizhawk didn't crash. With Lagarith, video dump died. But with raw uncompressed codec it work. The problem is, I don't know why, it's extremly slow, I think on average ~5-6fps (it's constantly move between 1 and 25 fps).

This is what I had done, but with Powershell, it always gives me a error (for exemple):
mame-rr ssf2t -aviwrite myrom.avi
Mame-rr: The term "mame-rr" is not recognized as a cmdlet name, function, script file, or
Executable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path exists, verify that the path
Is correct and try again.

+ Mame-rr ssf2t -aviwrite myrom.avi
+ ~~~~~~~
    + CategoryInfo: ObjectNotFound: (mame-rr: String) [], CommandNotFoundException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId: CommandNotFoundException

Suggestion [3, General]: The mame-rr command can not be found, but it exists at the current location. By default, Windows PowerShell does not load any commands from the current location. If you approve this command, type ". \ Mame-rr" instead. For more information, see "get-help about_Command_Precedence".
but with the classic command promt it work fine. Thanks Feos edit: -playback myrom.mar don't work for me, I must load manually the movie file. edit 2: I have made several tests, no big issues, very few desync. Dbz2 crash mame on load savestate, every time. The biggest problem is the old build of mame, like fsvgm777 and Sonia say, a 6 years old build, so many games are not compatible or are broken, sound, visual or both. Some games have avi dump format problem on diferent avi part (on some 3d fighting games, the image size of the dump is not the same between parts, I can post a video or screenshot, if it is needed). Is it possible to have an option "stop on movie end" ? (and in a perfect world. an option to export movies like in bizhawk "save movie as..." (To avoid the loss of any data during a crash for example)) I hope slowdown and/or rewind will come later. Otherwise, geat job! edit3 I will list somes games that desync on the fisrt seconds, if I think about it. Mario Bros. (US, Revison F) edit4 Hauted Castle (M) desync around frame 28000 Chase H.Q desync at random frame without warning Hang-on desync ~ frame 9000

Ah in "C:\Users\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Config", found, thanks! It was at 2500 kbps. Does this affect only the non-FFV1 dump or both? Thanks again Fog!

Ffmpeg was updated to latest stable version. This fixed a bug in Windows where the bitrate settings didn't affect the quality of the dumped video. To account for this, I added a new configuration option in the GFX ini called BitrateKbps. To get the best quality out of XviD encodes, set this to some really high number like 50000 (it won't actually do 50000kbps, it just puts it in a really high quality profile).
Thanks for your answer Fog In the latest release, 5.0-3354, I have just this in GFX.ini
# GFXE5D - Freestyle Metal X

[Core]
# Values set here will override the main Dolphin settings.

[EmuState]
# The Emulation State. 1 is worst, 5 is best, 0 is not set.
EmulationStateId = 4

[OnLoad]
# Add memory patches to be loaded once on boot here.

[OnFrame]
# Add memory patches to be applied every frame here.

[ActionReplay]
# Add action replay cheats here.
Should we just add a line with the desired BitrateKbps?

dolphin-master-5.0-3334-x64 Test movie: 55508 inputss ~ 5:08. 3x native internal resolution, 1080p, anti-aliasing 8x msaa, 8x anisotropic filtering without FFV1, crappy video dump ~ 100mb (2 730 kb/s), horribly pixellated. with FFV1, good video dump ~6.76gb (189 mb/s), good, obviously.. Since when dumping without FFV1 become so crappy? A few months ago, I don't remenber what rev, rendering without FFV1 was very good. Here is a quick comparative encode, at 9000 kb/s (~334mb each) see @ ~2:00 Link to video Link to video
