Taxi 3 crashes continuously. Any idea when multi-disk support, and wiimote/wii motion plus will arrive? Is support for elf, dol, gcr, tgc, ciso, gcz, wia, rvz, wad, dff, and m3u formats planned? Of course the question does not arise for the Nkit format.

I actually feel sorry for Alyosha, whose work I admire on the many cores he's worked on, and everything else. But since he announced to work on MSXhawk, I have the impression that from the beginning he was not very motivated with the MSX. He preferred to work on the MSX1, and lost motivation over time for one reason or another. So, despite the comfort and the tools that Bizhawk provides, I don't see the reason to use this core rather than OpenMSX, which has been there for years, is very complete, very accurate, has a lot of tools also and is also very easy to use.

Ok, thanks CasualPokePlayer! Indeed, the bios, firmwire and nand files must come from the same dump. Thanks, it works now! DSi Mode and Use Real BIOS must be set to True and Firmwire Start-Up to Manual Boot.

How to configure MelonDS hawk core for DSi games to work? All I managed to get was lag frames. I have the firmwire files, the nand etc.

Although the Multi-disk bundler exists (it would seem for the MegaDrive (Genesis)(?) the 32X and the Sega Mega-CD), the multi-disk bundler allows to choose "GEN", is it possible to switch to another CD on Sega Mega-CD? Not with the Virtual PAD anyway.

Ok thank you CasualPokePlayer! So the only solution is to wait for a possible evolution of PicoDrive. Gens it won't be possible to see, and it's impossible to have a Fusion implementation since it's closed source in addition to its antiquity without an update (which would be the only one to to be able to do it, to see the post).

I tried to run the 32X version of Night Trap (2CD). So I used the Multi-disk bandler. But the game does not launch (And I couldn't find any option to "attach" the 32X extension.).
A new version was released in the United States in 1993 and in 1995 in France, this one requiring in addition to the Mega-CD the hardware extension 32X.

Is it possible to create a timer in lua based on the number of frames elapsed or on the number of frames per second of the emulation? (Bizhawk) For example for Night Trap, there is here the solution "The Perfect Game - 83 moves in total", this one is based on the in-game time. It might be necessary to count down then remove the time from the intro of the Sega Mega-CD and from the intro to this timer.

When I load the xml file (obtained with Multi-disk bundler), I have this error. The game (Phantasmagoria) is 8 CDs. As can be seen below, only .cue files are loaded.

I did some tests, for the GameCube it seems to work really well. On Gamecube the only desyncs I had were on Mary-Kate and Ashley: Sweet 16 - Licensed to Drive after ~1h20 of play (despite several tries, even when resuming an old save, it still desyncs). I tested the Wii very little, I only tested Resident Evil games for a few tens of minutes with the GameCube controls. No desync there either. Is support for Wiimote/Wii motion plus and in the Virtual Controller planned? Same for the Multi-disk bundler among others for Gamecube games? Is texture pack support planned? Will support for Gecko and IR codes be implemented (Among other things for 16/9 support)? Thank you already for all the work done!

https://www.reddit.com/r/TAS/comments/ucitrv/an_update_on_my_tas_program_for_windows/ Project by FishLordSilvers
An update on my TAS program for Windows Just keeping people updated on this, and because I like sharing progress. I'm currently developing a program to TAS in windows, and I've managed to get complete keyboard/mouse input, as well as displaying the amount of frames that had passed since the first time you injected (injecting a dll into the target process). From here, I'll be working on being able to save and record multiple sessions, but I'm not really sure how I would approach frame-by-frame edits. Here's a sample video of me playing Terraria where I can see the input and frame count: https://youtu.be/gDQZogMDSek This video isn't playing or recording any input, but once I get that finished then I'll make this available to people. It may not look like much without actual frame-perfect playback.
Previous post
I've been working on something these past few days and I've finally begun with something that can do frame-perfect input. However, it's VERY barebones right now, because of my lack of coding knowledge, so all it does right now is click every other frame. Hopefully in the future, I'd be making something similar to Bizhawk's TAStudio program. The only two things I've tested this in is in Minecraft and Terraria, and also random windows that I moused over when I actually got the clicking to work. Minecraft worked fine and it clicked every other frame, but Terraria has some sort of check and just didn't process any of the clicking that wasn't actually from my mouse. I'll post updates on this in the future, and publicly release this once I get some sort of "modularization" going on. You can see a video here on me showing off what I have so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLtCzK3oJ2Y For tech nerds out there: This does not mess with the system's clock, but instead injects a DLL program into the desired application to watch for frame updates. This whole system is actually someone else's work that was open source, I've just added some really barebones thing with it to click every other frame However, this arises a problem: DLL injection. Currently, Terraria goes fucking NUTS when you try to run OBS and record while the DLL was already injected. It's got some sort of anticheat set up with it, I'm not sure exactly what's happening here. But somewhere halfway it fails to do something, and it ends up corrupting the process. Colors show up as the wrong hue, things using alpha are slightly darker, and at one point it stopped music from working altogether. TL;DR, I'm working on a program to TAS windows programs. It's not released yet, and there's already some problems with it. I'll release it when I find a way to play back input.

Thank you all for your links and help! Is the sound plugin used here not the same as the version of Angrylion built into Bizhawk with Ares? On this version the sound bug also on these games, but not in the same way. With Mupen64-rr Sound bug in Xena: Warrior Princess - The Talisman of Fate (even with audio/video dumped). The sound also bugs on Resident Evil 2, and the sound is out of sync during cutscenes (even having dumped the audio/video).

Sure: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1v6yL-ZO9p6ncEG_kMmpOZBtLSbrXJC91?usp=sharing For Majora's Mask, I dumped with ThreeSD the EU and US versions from my 3DS, I use the US version. I haven't retested with the .3ds version. I also put in the screenshots folder a screenshot of the games I use in App format (dumped from my 3DS with ThreeSD).

Thank you. I must be really tired. Why not put the link directly to the fork page in the message from Feos to this one? I can't modify the hotkeys, as soon as I click on one to modify it puts me (195) (because of the mouse click?) and the .ini is unreadable. And video export crashes Mupen.

Yes that fork, and that repack page is not linked on that fork, it's only linked in upstream's releases. Our fork currently has a single release, and release contains all the needed plugins. Note too the angrylion's plugins were modified by us to implement some functions needed for dumping with mupen. Just use the package released by us for encoding by our standards and it will have all the plugins prepackaged and ready for use.
I'm sorry, but if I follow the link posted by Feos in the first message "we decided to host a fork" and go to the link to download Mupen, I get to this page, and there is no prepackaged plugin in this version of Mupen... But maybe I'm too tired, it's 3:30 am.
