Yeah, about stage 4, it is faster to take the rocket after all. I'll just have to take it once and skip the second one so as to not extend the lag.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Pressing Start skips text! Why didn't I think of that?!?! Redoing...AGAIN! See if I can get some more optimization in this time.
ditto to that @w@;;; Maybe because its got that REALY big "A" icon begging you to hit it? :? Garuuu~ Nice improvments though! =3
I was mashing A in my run, not Start XD. Anyway, I'm past the area I was at before, complete with text skipping. I'm going to post a WIP after finishing Bumblyburg Tower. Let me know ASAP if you find anything so I don't have to redo it.

Just tryed that path myself...Not too bad but be carful when the platforms moving NEAR you ( I.E. away from the ticket ) because the games move.vals' get buggy...Oh yes! new protental glitch! Try holding R when goin up stairs! you'll get a small "hop" AND you can do a backflip right out of it!...might not be THAT uful but Im sure you could find a spot or two for it. ;)
Already found it and I had abused it in my original B1 route to make that set of platforming hops to the goal. See my old WIP for more info. EDIT: Here you go, BT1 in eight seconds. Now I need to work on the BT2 route!

Though it's painfully obvious you used only 110 rerecords ;) the tricks were useful. Redoing now.

Isn't there some plugin that everybody can use with a framebuffering option to get rid of that?
There's a gameshark cheat which nullifies the pause lag but in only works on PJ64.

Does the pause delay count against the internal time (the time stored in the .m64)?
Yeah, it does, as far as I can tell.

The subscreen glitch tacks on roughly six seconds per pause.
no prob, just cut the pause delays from the avi and voila, sub 2h!
Idea thief. Only joking. Anyway, I don't think cutting the pause menu lag would work on an AVI because the music doesn't sync. The music sontinues to play while the pause screen lags.

I was wondering this as well, until it was explained. The trick that is being used to get the Light Arrows on B involves turning back into a kid. Since Sheik is in the way, you can't turn back into a kid until you have defeated Phantom Gannon.

Wait a minute, what happened to the superslide-into-the-lowering-platform trick?
Found a faster method. That method was going to be used if I had to get the boss key.
And anway, I just realized that using the former trick would be skipping the bow, which we needed anyway. It's a shame you didn't use it though. It looked SO COOL. Also, yay! IT'S MY 250TH POST!

As fun as this riveting religious talk is, I think we should focus on the run. BTW, I have another WIP.

Yep. Sad, isn't it? A Jew doing a run of Christian games...maybe I'll do Noah's Ark 3D or Bible Stories next... Here's another WIP, futher into the game by a few levels. I need to redo that last level, that's why it stops in the middle.

This game is too awesomely glitchy to pass on, and it's such a bad game it deserves to be broken. Here's a run of the first level. As always, post comments. Specifically, I want to talk in this thread about physics manipulation in the Breakout and Pong levels, because I already have planned routes for each regular level anyway (and I plan to deliberately lose the music game as well).

It is an AVI. EDIT: Whoa thats pretty cool although you have a serious problem now, I assume you entered the FT with 9 bombs that means you're probally gonna have 9 bombchus and no bombs left by the end of it, which means no superslides or quick deathwarps. Personally I think you'd benifit from at least one bomb drop in the Lost Woods although ideally since no matter what you'll need to manipulate a enough bombs drops to fill up you're whole inventory. As I was also saying many pages back don't worry about bombs and bombchus once you're inside Ganon's Castle as the beamos in the Spirit chamber drops them and there is a chest of 20 bombchu's in the next room.
He was calling on bkDJ to make another encoded WIP video.

Guano, if you're getting Nayru's Love then its definitley advisable to do the Minuet skip and then warp to the Colosus, since you still learn the Minuet when you do the bomb hover trick into the void.
How does that thing with the Minuet work?
