"a standard double buttslap up to the bench" is in the running for Best Phrase in a Submission Comment of 2016.
Also yes vote. I loved the Tony Hawk games on PlayStation as a kid, and it's great to see the newer games are getting wrecked just as hard as the classics.

Metal Gear Solid Integral was the Japanese rerelease of MGS1 which featured the English dub, Japanese and English subtitles, analog controls and VR missions on a third disc.

There's also something weird with MGS Intergral and Dual Analog virtual analog pads. When using an Xbox 360 gamepad, the analog sticks are all aligned in the right direction, but using the TAS tools for analog control, the sticks are not aligned and everything is topsy-turvy (e.g. moving Up on the stick makes Snake move right).

Introducing Spec Ops Done On FUBAR Fast, or SODOFF, a speedrun of the PC version of Spec Ops: The Line on the hardest difficulty (FUBAR, which can only be unlocked by beating the game on Hard) in 66 segments. The final time is 1:40:02 (mostly IGT, though the prologue and last chapter have to be manually timed). (Spec Ops is a modern military shooter in the same way that Funny Games is a horror movie, and I'll just leave it at that.)
FUBAR is an outrageously punishing difficulty. According to Steam's achievement stats, only 1.4% of all people who own this game have beaten in on FUBAR (I'm not sure about the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions). Ammo refill containers only give you 40% of your capacity as opposed to 100% on Easy, and you can be killed by a single accurate burst of assault rifle fire from halfway across the map. Thankfully, your squadmates are slightly more durable than you are and have very good AI, and I make good use of them throughout the run.
This is not the first time I have tried to do a segmented run, but it's the first time I've ever completed one! All of the research and study of the game mechanics was done on my own, although I did receive some feedback and support from brassmaster and akheon. I kept it under wraps for as long as I could to keep it a surprise for some of my long-time TwitchTV viewers, and reception so far has been mostly positive.
There are a few spots that are pretty rough (especially one wasted flash grenade in Chapter 8), but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially after 8,975 attempts. I hope you enjoy the final result, or as much as you can "enjoy" a game as bleak and oppressive as this.

I was always under the impression that, when voting, we must always let our conscience be our guide.
.......Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all night.

I finally got around to watching this. It felt a little slow at points, but that's only because I'm used to the faster pace of New Super Mario Bros. U, so it's not your fault.
Still, this is an easy vote. It had some very impressive tricks and I'm sure it will look even cooler when the 60fps encode is released.

I've tried Metal Gear Solid: Integral as an example, and tried several different tricks like fiddling around with the bios and settings but it usually crashes about ten lag frames after loading the .bin (this has happened with several version of the ISO).
Does PSXjin not support NTSC-J yet or something?

As I mentioned in the comments of my MGS:VR Missions TAS, I am more than happy to work on the sequel's missions.
However, while doing 300 missions (where a good chunk of them didn't have scores) was already exhausting, 511 missions with each individual one having a corresponding world record is a downright war. And if this is a war, I need an army.
I am looking for people to collaborate with me on this run. As an advance warning, this run will be very hard and VERY long. I'm guessing 4-5 hours. There's a playthrough of YouTube of first-place (not WR, just beating the dev scores) playthroughs of all missions which takes almost eight hours.
This TAS from 2012 confirms that the latest build of PCSX2 is sync compatible with the Japanese Substance release. As far as I can tell, there are no gameplay differences between the Japanese and American versions of Substance, as it was a worldwide release; however, it might be worth hearing the funnier Japanese soldiers and Kenyu Horiuchi's voice clips as Raiden are generally less irritating than Quinton Flynn's.
If we run into trouble getting the whole thing to sync, there's no reason we can't work on individual levels in the meantime.
......So, who's willing to take this trip down the rabbit hole with me?

For years, we at TASvideos have toiled to perfect any game we find. Now I know that perfection alone is not enough anymore.
This run isn't perfect. It's fucking NIRVANA.
(In case it wasn't obvious I voted yes)
I also introduce a motion to change the category to Executes Arbitrary Coding. You know, for punny giggles.
