I can go to "Record Movie" and choose the settings, but nothing happens when I press "ok". When I exit the menu and open it again, the emulator crashes. It always worked fine in VBA 23, but I want to use the more accurate version. Can somebody help me?

I forgot to test GBA, but now that I did, it's the same result you had: No crash.

Strange. I'm also using Windows 7 64 bit. I even made the Telefang TAS on this laptop. 0_o

A crazy question: From where on your harddrive are you executing the emulator?

C:\Users It's interesting that it actually creates a *.vbm with a size of 0 KB.

I looked into it a little bit and there's a part where it calls into the GBA load bios function which in GB mode ends up writing outside allocated memory and trashes the heap, which leads to the crash. Of course, right after I did this I checked the vba-rr issues and sure enough it's already on there, and someone else already found the exact same thing: http://code.google.com/p/vba-rerecording/issues/detail?id=84 So a fix exists right now but you have to compile it yourself. I would guess that it'll get included in the next release. I have no idea when that'll be though.

Well, I doubt that I can do such a thing :/ Just downloaded version 440a and it doesn't have the problem. So unless there is something else wrong with that version, I'll be using that instead. Thank you very much for your help anyway, at least I now know that I did nothing wrong.
