Hey guys.
You know that RAM Search option some of the re-recording emulators have (such as FCEUXrr, VBArr, SNES9xrr)?
To me that's one of the best cheat search managers I've used. And it would be great if something like that could be added to Dolphin to replace the inferior cheat search option it has.
Since Dolphin can be modified by anyone, is this something that could be implemented? Could whoever was the one that modified those NES/SNES/GB emulators to add that RAM Search option do the same with Dolphin?
The problem is that no one wants to do it, and furthermore, it's waaay more complicated because the GameCube has way more addresses than NES, SNES and all.

I have lobbied a lot for our cause to team Dolphin during these years. Lioncash is the one you can forward your request at since he is the last guy to properly implement it. Yes, they have a new and much improved ram watch. He said he would do it but here we are. So if you truly want this, head over to irc, via freenode, connect to #dolphin-dev and get his attention.

Cheat Engine begs to differ. It has handled much bigger situations many years ago on a laptop for me. If your computer can at least start Dolphin, it shouldn't be a problem.

In regarding cheat engine, a pointer search similar to that program would be a nice addition (but not first priority compared to having better RAM search ofc).
