Post subject: How to make a .fm2 sync on BizHawk?

I made a few movies on fceux before and I'd like to make them sync on BizHawk. I imported one of my movies and when I put it to replay, I got this message: Then I watched the movie and it desynced near the beginning. I'm assuming I'm not doing things right, especially because of this warning message. What should I do to make a .fm2 sync perfectly on BizHawk? Is that even actually possible?

First of all, it's not guaranteed to be possible. You might be doing nothing wrong at all. That error message relates to whether two bizhawk instances sync with each other. Of more interest to you is that Bizhawk and fceux don't always sync with each other. Now, I'll leave it to someone else to tell you about the annoying process for repairing an fm2.

I'm up for the challenge as long as it's not extremely complicated. If it's something that only a computer wizard like you can do, then I probably better off making another movie from square one on BizHawk, I guess...

The NES core has the following "sync settings": Region override (applies if you want to force a game to PAL or NTSC region) Controls override (applies for anything that's not two normal controllers) Cheetamen 2 Bullcrap Unless your movie was a PAL in NTSC or NTSC in PAL, or if it used non-normal controllers, none of that applies. So the settings aren't the problem; this just sounds like a general sync incompatibility. Some FCEUX movies sync perfectly in Bizhawk; some lose or gain a frame here and there that needs to be compensated; and some are hopeless.
