Pokémon Silver and Gold form the second generation of Pokémon, after Pokémon Red and Blue. The main differences between the generations is that the game is now in full color, and that there are 251 Pokémon instead of 151.
This movie plays through Pokémon Silver in a fairly fast manner, catching only a half dozen Pokémon in the process, but acquiring all the gym badges, and ultimately beating the protagonist of the previous generation of Pokémon games.
The authors of this movie have written very extensive details of anything regarding this movie, including even some of the mathematical formulas used by the game. As usual, we recommend reading these comments.

Fushigi no Dungeon - Fuurai no Shiren GB - Tsukikage Mura no Kaibutsu, translated as Mystery Dungeon - Shiren the Wanderer - The Monsters of Moonlight Village, is an entry in the Mystery Dungeon series of roguelike games. The game follows Shiren The Wanderer, and his talking weasel Koppa.
Rather than go on an adventure with Shiren, CasualPokePlayer instead abuses input handling programming errors to execute arbitrary code and jump straight to the credits roll, which lasts longer than the actual gameplay of this run.

Pokémon: Gold, Silver and Crystal from the second generation of Pokémon, after Red Version and Blue Version. New features include full color, a new region called Johto, and 100 all new Pokémon.
In this run, CasualPokePlayer abuses bugs to corrupt the save data while not encountering a single wild Pokémon! For more information, see the author's comments.

Ash reveals his dark side, using save corruption and direct memory manipulation to catch 64 of the 151 Pokémon in the blink of an eye. Then he beats the game in less than a minute (in-game time) - without ever leaving his own room, bypassing Professor Oak's speech and skipping right to the high praise for his impressive stats.
This run is so glitchy that it's near impossible to follow what's going on without help; reading the author's notes is highly recommended.
To see a run of the first generation of Pokémon that doesn't take advantage of save data corruption, watch this movie.

Gargoyle's Quest is another platform game made by Capcom, where you play as Firebrand, a gargoyle predestined to become the Red Blaze and take down King Breager.
This run beats the branch without zipping by 5:48.46 minutes.

This movie can be watched running on real console hardware here.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is a classic Game Boy Zelda adventure. Link must travel across the dream world of Koholint Island, collecting the 8 Instruments to wake the Wind Fish and go home after a terrible shipwreck.
…or at least, that's what normally is supposed to happen. Using subframe resets, and some other glitches, CasualPokePlayer shows a much faster way to reach the credits.

Pokémon: Gold, Silver and Crystal from the second generation of Pokémon, after Red Version and Blue Version. New features include full color, a new region called Johto, and 100 all new Pokémon.
In this run, CasualPokePlayer improves on the previous movie by exploiting a different point in Silver. For more information, see the author's comments.

Pokémon Gold and Silver form the second generation of Pokémon, after Pokémon Red and Blue. The main differences between the generations is that the game is now in full color, and that there are 251 Pokémon instead of 151.
CasualPokePlayer employs a staggering amount of luck manipulation and extremely careful routing (accomplished using the RouteTwo program) in order to improve upon the predecessor Silver run by 01:23.49 minutes. Only a few Pokémon are collected in this run, but all gym badges are acquired before defeating the protagonist of the previous generation of Pokémon games.
The author of this movie has written very extensive details about anything regarding this movie, including even some of the mathematical formulas used by the game. As usual, we recommend reading these comments.
