In this special episode of Looney Tunes, Bugs, Daffy, Tweety, Porky, Taz, Speedy Gonzales, and the Road Runner decide to rip off popular games such as Atomic Runner, Sonic the Hedgehog & Gradius. They do this by going through this Sunsoft classic as fast as possible so that they don't die from all of the ripoffs. This has led to some... strange results.

They do this by going through this Sunsoft classic as fast as possible so that they don't die from all of the ripoffs.
This has led to even stranger results than the other run, clearing five and a half minutes thanks to a glitch that allows for skipping several levels.

DecapAttack is a Genesis exclusive game starring the mummy Chuck D. Head who's on a quest to stop an underworld army. To do so, Chuck must overcome several dangers, such as clever fishes, seals with sunglasses, and maniac bulldozers. At his disposal, Chuck has several ability-enhancing potions, as well as a spare skull to chuck at his enemies.
This is a 10 second improvement over the previous run. Most of the time saved comes from better optimization and use of the swinging poles that can be used to go faster than with regular running.

Although one could certainly crack a joke about the idea of a platformer based on McDonald's characters, the joke is quickly stifled by the fact that this game is made by Treasure, known for their entertaining platformers and shooters. A nonsensical plot involving a treasure map and aliens on the moon is quickly discarded in favor of entertaining and hilarious platform antics.
node1729 improves upon the previous publication by 01:43.30, thanks to new strategies for the final boss as well as movement optimizations.

Puggsy is the story of an alien who makes a pit stop on a planet creatively called The Planet, only to have his spacecraft stolen by the raccoon natives!
In order to get Puggsy's ride back, Sonikkustar abuses the impressive physics engine and the variety of puzzle-solving items dotted around the levels, thrashing the raccoons in record time!

The kingdom of Zebulos is once again attacked, this time by the neighboring Gedol Empire, whose ruler King Gedol decides that he can kidnap Princess Cherry as Bowser can kidnap Princess Toadstool. The rescuing hero, Sparkster, thinks that espionage is boring. So instead of infiltrating the Gedol empire by stealth, he goes in sword swinging and jetpack blazing, cutting down swaths of whatever poor lizardmen decide to get in his way.
This game is the official sequel to Rocket Knight Adventures, whereas the SNES version with the same title is some sort of spinoff. Although the control is sluggish compared to the other two games, the author generally keeps the speed and pace fast, and exploits a bunch of tricks that make some bosses fall very, very fast.
This is a 42 second improvement to the previous movie by Ferret_Warlord.

A short TAS featuring an absurdly fast character with bad sound effects in a broken game. This version is over 2 minutes faster than the previous version due to a warp glitch. This glitch allows the player to start a level at the same X and Y coordinates as the player had when the previous level ended.

Note: The audio issues are a result of Gens's inaccurate audio emulation.

In X-Men 2: Clone Wars, the alien race Phalanx invades the earth and the X-Men and some X-Women try to stop them.
You get to choose which X-Man to play in every stage. Most of the time Nightcrawler is used because he has the highest movement speed. Second in command is Wolverine because he has the second highest speed and also deals a ton of damage.
The game is unique in the regard that it starts as soon as you power on your console. No SEGA logo, no title screen, no character select. Normally the game pseudorandomly gives you Beast, but changing the types of controllers (3- or 6-button) and pressing normally impossible button combinations (up+down) throws off the start-up timing enough that the fastest character can be gotten.
This movie is 02:49.43 minutes shorter than the previous publication thanks to a variety of new tricks explained in the authors' comments. The comments include a live commentary on the tricks and making of the movie.
This movie has a full Atlas Map encode, which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map.

In Vigilante, you are a tough lone hero fighting to save his girlfriend, Madonna, from a dangerous gang called the Skinheads. The unnamed hero can use his fists and feet to beat up his foes, as well as bullet-breaking nunchucks he can pick up along the way.
The author, Sonikkustar, lets nothing stop him as he tears through every Skinhead and rescues Madonna in record time.

Psycho Fox is about furry animals out to stop the evil Madfox Daimyojin, using their trusty bird friend as a baseball to knock out enemies. This all happens in a blink of an eye, so watch closely! Again, Tiger is the fastest one and is used ASAP.
This run beats the previous run by 40 frames, thanks to optimizing the pause glitch and movement. Despite the time save, the final run time is slower due to the SMS BIOS not seen in the previous run. For more details, please read the authors' comments.
There is also a run of this game, which completes the game without warps.

Quartet is a fairly basic run-and-gun platformer, with little in the way of objectives besides "kill the bosses" and "find the exit".
