Metal Slug X (2001) is a remixed version of Metal Slug 2, the second installment of an immensely popular run'n'gun series released on the Neo Geo MVS. The games are notable for incredibly detailed pixel graphics, fluid animation, and good humor; but the real key to their longevity is, of course, their high difficulty as far as survival goes.
This is x2poet's 00:16.20 seconds improvement over the previous movie, despite now using the hardest difficulty setting. One notable improvement is the use of both players, compared to one in the obsoleted run.

In Spinmaster, known in Japan as Miracle Adventure (ミラクルアドベンチャー), you play as Johnny and Tom, two treasure seekers. They have to save Johnny's girlfriend and gather map pieces in order to find the biggest treasure in the world! Along the way, they must fight past lots of quirky henchmen, large bosses, and more, all accompanied by cartoony graphics and stereotypical cowboy voice clips.
In this game, Johnny and Tom can use several different types of weapons, such as the elements of ice, fire, and thunder. They can collect a limited number of super attacks, denoted by the letter "B" under their health bars, to hurt everything on the screen and damage bosses heavily. Also, health does not refill between levels.

Squirrel King is a platform video game produced, without license from Sega, by the Taiwanese developer Gamtec for the Mega Drive. Gamtec is also responsible for the development of a number of other games, including many for the Gamate handheld system.
It appears to be loosely based upon Capcom's Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers video games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, sharing its gameplay mechanics, although it is not licensed by Disney. As in the aforementioned game, the main character must throw crates at the enemies in order to defeat them.
This game was eventually used as the basis for the unofficial Mega Drive Super Mario World game. Some of the levels in this game have their background music based on that of the Super NES video game Donkey Kong Country.

This game follows the adventures of miniature Dracula and Frankenst… rather, "Vampire" and "The Monster" as they dodge giant golf balls, fight miniature Godzillas and ultimately do battle with a massive head on an equally large television screen.
The authors frequently make use of two players simultaneously to both fight enemies quicker and also provide choreographed dancing. This also allows for more damage- and death-abuse to be used to save time.

Rainbow Islands is a sequel to Bubble Bobble. Protagonists Bubblun and Bobblun now appear in their human forms as Bubby and Bobby. The objective is to climb to the top of each stage in a time limit, while avoiding or destroying various baddies along the way.
The players can summon rainbows which can be used as platforms and weapons. In a TAS, they can be abused greatly to allow dizzying rates of ascent.
This run obtains the bad ending, because it does not collect any of the Big Diamonds used to unlock the secret last level.

TMNT2 is a classic beat-em-up game, featuring 4 reptiles. This may be that rare case when the Turtles can really prove they are ninjas. Because being a ninja is not about walking and fighting...
After Splinter taught his students how to teleport short distances, it was all over for the Foot Clan. Michael Jackson also taught them how to moonwalk, because this was the 80's and Michael Jackson was cool then. It never spoiled things that with 2 players the game spawns around 8/5 more enemies than with one player. The increased HP didn't help the bosses to stand that sudden turtle attack either.
Note: This movie must be played with FCEU 0.98.26, or else it will desync on the first stage.
