Donkey Kong is a classic game that has been challenged plenty of times at this site, by different authors.
Every time before it has been rejected ― either because the movies have been imperfect, or just because the game is too simple.
(Isn't it? Even the video codec thinks it can encode the movie losslessly in a mere 251 kbit/s rate.)
But persistence prevailed (take no hint!), and Michael Reilly got his movie through.
This movie applies luck manipulation to keep the bad enemies out of way so mister Jumpman (later to become Mario) doesn't need to jump so much.

Duck Tales is a classic game in which Scrooge has to collect treasures from all over the world. Some of the levels are not completely straightforward, and collecting items is sometimes necessary before proceeding. He also has an almighty pogo stick with him that can be used in various ways, which makes jumping a lot more fun.
This is the third TAS of Duck Tales at difficult level, merely 3 seconds faster than the previous version by Genisto.

Lagoon is a low-tempo adventure game much like Zelda.
It is up to Nasir, Hero of Light, to save Lakeland from Zerah. Zerah is attempting to release the Evil Sprit and pollute all the water. This game is difficult due to the length of Nasir's sword.
We recommend reading the author's comments.

SNES Zelda completed in a very quick manner by traveling in an alternate dimension through the walls. The basis of the trick is to enter a corridor or staircase by pressing up+down or left+right. Note that you need the patched version of Snes9x to play the movie file.
Now 29 seconds faster because of a new path and a wobbling trick that gives extra movement speed.
