Luigi wins a mansion in a contest and his brother, Mario, goes missing there. It is your goal to search the haunted mansion to figure out where he is. Your weapons to protect you are a flashlight and the Poltergust 3000, a ghost vacuum. Capturing ghosts and collecting keys helps you progress in your quest to find Mario.
The author, Malleoz, forgoes out-of-bounds glitches that are present in this movie and plays through the game in a regular way in record time.
The author also provides an alternate encode with commentary which can be viewed here.

This run plays the Hidden Mansion, a mode unlocked after beating the game once that increases the power of the Poltergust and allows skipping some cutscenes, to make the run more entertaining. We do not normally accept runs that start from dirty SRAM; see the rules for more details.

Mortal Kombat: Deception is the sixth fighting game in the Mortal Kombat series, and the second one to use its engine, so that means it shouldn't be as loaded with bugs and glitches as previous games in the series, right? Maybe not.
In case you have no idea what's going on, a listing of the numerous glitches used and fight by fight commentary are available in the author's comments.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft Montreal. It was released in December, 2005 in North America for the Xbox, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and the Nintendo GameCube. Throughout much of the game, the player must attempt to traverse the palace by running across walls, ascending or descending chasms by jumping back and forth between walls, avoiding traps, climbing structures and jumping from platform to platform, making other types of well-timed leaps, solving puzzles and using discovered objects to progress.
This TAS by Pankaj improved on the previous publication by nearly 4 minutes and 35 seconds.

Resident Evil 4 features a completely new story and an innovative "over-the-shoulder" third person perspective that replaces the fixed camera system of the previous three Resident Evil games.
Special agent Leon Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the daughter of the U.S. President, from a sinister cult in a remote rural part of Europe. Leon must fight hordes of violent villagers and mutated monsters on his way to save her.
The Mercenaries is an unlockable minigame in Resident Evil 4. It is unlocked by completing the main game regardless of difficulty. The objective is to kill enemies to earn points before the evacuation chopper arrives in the allotted time.
In this run, Ubercapitalist plays through the Castle level of The Mercenaries game mode using Wesker. He obtains the maximum amount of kills and the highest score using multiple weapons and major amount of luck and spawn manipulation. Ubercapitalist explains in great detail his process in the submission text.
For those who want to watch the run without all of those item pickups, Ubercapitalist has provided an "Artist's Cut" of the movie here.
Ubercapitalist has also made a TAS of the Village map for The Mercenaries.

Spider-Man is based on the 2002 movie of the same name, featuring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker.
The game is a beat-em-up that expands the plot of the film, featuring villains that didn't make it into the movie. The player navigates the game by web slinging, zipping, and crawling along walls, only stopping long enough to beat up baddies and collect upgrades.
Natetheman223 plays through the mini-game called "pinhead bowling", goofing around while also getting strikes in the process.

Spider-Man is based on the 2002 movie of the same name, featuring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker.
Completing this game on the "Hero" difficulty or higher unlocks a New Game+ mode that lets the player take control of Harry Osborn (voiced by Josh Keaton) in the Green Goblin suit, complete with the Glider and Goblin Bombs! This New Game+ mode features a new storyline where Harry must stop a "mysterious" adversary, who just happens to sound a lot like Willem Dafoe, in another Green Goblin suit.
This run is a 2 minute and 33 second improvement over the previous movie.
This run uses a special Green Goblin suit from the Alex Ross comics. This suit normally isn't available on the Gamecube version, however it can be rendered usable through use of an Action Replay code.

Just like its predecessor, Spider-Man 2 is based on the 2004 movie of the same name, featuring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker and Alfred Molina as Otto Octavius. It was the first open-world superhero game, and had brand new physics-based web swinging.
The game expands the plot of the film, where the player web-slings and crawls through a virtual New York. Hero points advance the plot and can be collected by doing good deeds and beating up bad guys.
Natetheman223 plays through all of the pizza delivery missions in the game, which is a fan favorite side quest.

Star Fox Adventures is a game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo in 2002 for the GameCube. Originally intended to be a title that bears no relation to the Star Fox franchise named Dinosaur Planet, it stars Krystal, who receives a distress signal from Dinosaur Planet and decides to investigate the incident, as well as Fox McCloud, who gets called by General Pepper to repair Dinosaur Planet by putting the broken pieces back in place.
Lobsterzelda does so whilst avoiding a glitch that skips most of the game (called Void Travel) and instead relies on other pretty significant glitches, like OoB, and defeats the culprit in record time. Please read the author's comments for more details.

Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. fighting game series is rather different from your typical fighting game. Instead of wearing your opponent's health down to 0, you must knock him or her out of the battlefield. Damage counts upwards, with knockback from attacks that hit you becoming more severe as your damage increases. Fighting controls are also simplified, making it very easy for even your non-gaming friends to pick up and play.
Super Smash Bros. Melee offers fighters from the wealth of Nintendo characters like Mario, Bowser, different Pokémon, Link, and Kirby. They can either fight through the single-player modes like Classic, Adventure, and Event Mode, or they battle it out against other characters in a four-player frenzy.
Additional characters and stages are unlocked as hidden objectives are met, and coins rewarded for playing in all modes can be spent on a capsule toy machine. The toys in the machine represent games from Nintendo's entire video game history, and each can be viewed in 3D with a brief description.
In this TAS, numerics plays through Adventure Mode with Samus, abusing glitches to move through the stages at a high rate of speed while making the battles as entertaining as possible.
Note: There are encodes of higher resolution in the discussion thread.

Note: The encodes also feature playing through the credits sequence as well as the "Challenger Approaching" fight against Jigglypuff.

Tony Hawk's Underground is a skateboarding-adventure video game published by Activision in 2003, the fifth entry in the Tony Hawk series.
Underground is built upon the skateboarding formula of previous Tony Hawk's games: the player explores levels and completes goals while performing tricks. The game features a new focus on customization; the player, instead of selecting a professional skater, creates a custom character.
Underground adds the ability for players to dismount their boards and explore on foot. The plot follows the player character and his or her friend Eric Sparrow as the two become well-known professionals and grow apart.
In this run, The Packle improves upon the previous publication by over three and a half minutes thanks to a new glitch involving custom tricks which eliminates most of the RNG this game has to offer.

Published on 3/25/2016
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is the sixth installment in Neversoft's Tony Hawk's series and is the sequel to Underground. The gameplay in Underground 2 is similar to that of previous Tony Hawk games: the player skates around in a 3D environment modeled after various cities and attempts to complete various goals. Most goals involve skating on or over various objects or performing combos. Scores are calculated by adding the sum of the point value of each trick strung together in a combo and then multiplying by the number of tricks in the combo.
In this run, The Packle plays through the Classic game mode, which brings back older THPS styled objectives into the current set of levels (including remade levels of older THPS games), using the easiest difficulty.
