Connect Four is a board game played by many people in many countries across all ages. The rules are simple: Each player takes turns dropping chips down a grid. Whoever can make a row of four connecting chips either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins the game. Like with Perfection and many other board games, it has received ports to many video game consoles.
Tompa, Alyosha, and Winslinator collaborate to complete a game in "Normal Game" difficulty as fast as possible, manipulating the AI to think faster so the game can be ended quicker.

It would be pointless to describe The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past here, because this run has little to do with the game itself. Using glitches exclusive to the GBA version, Link rips a hole in the space-time-continuum, enters the Palace of the Four Sword, and finishes the game in just over 5 minutes.
This run improves the previous publication by 00:21.17 seconds, primarily through a new trick that ends input early, using buggy boomerangs to finish off the Dark Links.

The Minish Cap is an addition to The Legend of Zelda series that sees our hero fight Ganondorf Vaati, retrieve and power up the Master Sword Picori Sword to once again save the land of Hyrule and rescue Princess Zelda.
This run by Tompa and quo improves upon the previous run by over 8 minutes thanks to much better optimization, new glitches, and a switch to the Japanese version of the game.

There is also an alternate YouTube stream featuring audio commentary by the authors.

Zook Man ZX4 (路克人ZX4) is a Game Boy Advance game by Vast Fame and the third known game in their Zook series. It is based loosely on the Rockman X games.
The game spans eight levels including an intro stage and a final boss rush. Several enemies are taken from Rockman X and Rockman 8, with the bosses being either recycled from previous Zook Hero games or being edits from other official Megaman games. The main character's design is based off of X.
This game was run as part of TASVideos' Dream Team Contest 6, and this TAS was built on a combination of multiple submissions of said contest - hence the high number of authors.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is a Game Boy Color game that carries over much of the graphics from Link's Awakening. Surprisingly, much of the game engine is completely different and developed by Capcom. In it, the Oracle of Seasons, Din, is kidnapped by Onox, General of Darkness. Link must travel throughout both Holdrum and Subrosia to collect the 8 Essences of Nature, power up the Rod of Seasons, and defeat Onox.
This game has been attempted by various authors over the past 5 years. Finally, SwordlessLink, along with Tompa, who joined the project after dungeon 4, beat this legendary game in 1:25:57.22 primarily through the use of pitwalking, Pegasus Seeds, and enemy manipulation. Please see the authors' notes for more details.

Pringles is a simple unlicensed homebrew game starring an older version of the Pringles mascot, complete with the hair and proper shading. In a world full of Pringles chips, Pringles cans, and gigantic ingredients, the goal is to get the Pringles mascot to the exit by eating Pringles chips, which boost the mascot upwards with each chip. Higher rankings for each level is achieved by going the longest in the air without touching the cans.
LoganTheTASer and Tompa save 2.55 seconds over the previous run thanks to new routing strategies, better lag reduction, and other micro-optimizations.

In Bubble Bobble, two magical, bubble-blowing dinosaurs (Bub and Bob) fight through an evil, deep forest in order to rescue their kidnapped dinosaur friends.
This movie features one... no, wait, six players controlling two characters simultaneously while smashing the previous time by 2 minutes and 41 seconds. However, this publication chooses to use warps.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is a licensed video game by Imagineering — the same company that made Bart vs. the Space Mutants — that is loosely based off the movie of the same name. The game generally follows the plot of the movie, but everything seems to be out to get him, from spiders and animated brooms to crazy old ladies and people hiding in the bushes for some reason. Kevin McCallister must avoid all of those things and the Wet Bandits that are out to get him and find help so he can safely wait for his family to return. And the game also has the Screw Attack technique from Metroid.
ScarfaceNico and Tompa save 35.3 seconds over the previous run through better movement techniques and better manipulation of the elevators. For more details, you can read the authors' notes.

In Rockin' Kats, Willy the Kat's girl Jill is kidnapped no less than five times by the local crime boss, and, armed with little more than a "punch-gun", he sets out to rescue her.
This run was the winning submission to TASVideos' Dream Team Contest 4, and improves the old run by just over five minutes.

Technically an improvement of one of the oldest runs on the site, this TAS aims to complete all levels and overworld enemy battles as fast as possible.
The run features tricks and strategies not seen in the current warpless run, and is worth checking out even if you're already familiar with that run.

The YouTube and downloadable encodes include the author's commentary as soft subtitles. These can also been seen in the fm2 file, and in this encode on Tompa's personal Youtube channel.
And if watching this TAS on an emulator isn't satisfying enough, why not see it played back on a real console!

Super Mario Bros. 3 completed fast ― without using the magic whistles.
Although this movie doesn't use the magic whistles, it does skip stages, and actually skips them quite a lot, with the aid of various items such as the hammers.
This is an improvement of about 44.5 seconds over the previous movie.

All encodes of this run come with the author's lengthy commentary as subtitles. Author's vocal commentary during the run's video can be watched on Twitch.

Ever since Morimoto published his legendary movie in mid-2003, the players at TASVideos have repeatedly made it faster and faster and even faster! Of course, there doesn't ever seem to be a stop for when it is fastest.
This movie is 00:00.60 seconds faster than the previous movie. Most of the improvement comes from Bowser's Castle, where the authors didn't have to lose time in order to get a favourable Bowser pattern. For more details, see the run's comments.

This run of Donkey Kong Country aims for 101% completion.
The author of this run discovered several new time-saving techniques. Some of them are small enough to go unnoticed, and others are jawdroppingly huge. The total improvement over the previous run is a tremendous 6 minutes 6.93 seconds this time around.
The in-game time of this run is about 33 minutes 10 seconds. For a detailed analysis of new techniques as well as comments about individual levels, read the author's comments.
If you desire more rolling primates, we recommend watching the any% movie.

The author, Tompa, also provided audio commentary of his TAS along with Pichi, which is available right here.

Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are on a quest to retrieve the former's banana horde from the Kremlings. But with less hurry than usual.
In this run, Tompa completes the game while avoiding the Y button that allows characters to run and to roll. Game mechanics such as grabbing a rope and getting shot out of a barrel are used to boost character speeds. See the author's comments for details.

Note: 5 presses of the Y button are required in one boss fight in order to pick up and throw barrels.

Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are on a quest to retrieve the former's banana horde from the Kremlings. They are doing it as quickly as possible, without bothering to enter all the bonus rooms.
This run is 00:25.39 seconds faster than the previous submission, mostly due to new routes using glitches in the levels Jungle Hijinx and Platform Perils. To understand what is going on in more detail, we suggest reading the submission notes.
If you desire more rolling primates, we recommend watching the 101% completion movie. We also have a walkathon that completes the game at a more leisurely pace.

Donkey and Diddy Kong appear to have been kidnapped, so now it's up to that daring damsel of adventure, Dixie Kong, to find the missing monkeys. But this is no solo expedition; her cousin, the titanic toddler Kiddy Kong, is here to help her kick some Kremlin butts.
This is the first entry of the 105% category of this game. By using a password to remove the 'DK' barrels, the game officially enters hard mode, and the maximum percent completion is obtained. For more Kong action, you can also view the pure speedrun that doesn't collect all items.

Full completion of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Both this run and the short version use a wobbling trick in order to make Link walk a bit faster. The execution of this maneuver requires the usage of a controller that allows the player to press Up+Down simultaneously (such as, in this case, a modified Snes9x's controller). The traveling-through-walls trick that is seen in the short version is not used.
This run features an improvement of a little over 4 minutes.
