Metal Gear!? It can't be!
This is the original MSX version of the first entry of the ever-popular Metal Gear series of stealth video games created by Hideo Kojima and developed and published by Konami. In this game, Snake infiltrates Outer Heaven, a fortified state founded by a "legendary mercenary" 200 km north of Galzburg, South Africa, in an operation codenamed Intrude N313. He must find out what happened to Gray Fox, after losing contact with FOXHOUND.
In this movie, however, dunnius isn't very stealthy at all; he goes through numerous alerts in order to reach a time of 26 minutes and 28.05 seconds.

Hydlide is an old and somewhat notorious game, mostly because it has very strange gameplay mechanics. For the first part of the game, walking consumes health, and the character must stop every now and then to regain it.
This is one of the few games (the only one?) where the level grinding sequences are actually entertaining, while the boss fights aren't. Hitting a boss decreases your own health as well as the boss's, after which there is much waiting for more health until you can hit him again.
This is an improvement of 03:54.80 over the previous TAS, due to overall better levelling strategy and route planning.
There is also a submitted TAS that uses codes and removes the need to level grind or wait for health.
Watch this run being played back on a real console.

Metal Gear!? It can't be!
This is the NES port of the first entry in the ever-popular Metal Gear series, created by Hideo Kojima and developed and published by Konami; there are significant differences between it and the original MSX version. It is infamous for its engrish, containing such ever-popular phrases as "I FEEL ASLEEP!" and "UH - OH! THE TRUCK HAVE STARTED TO MOVE!".
This run utilizes quite a wide variety of game glitches and collects the minimal set of items needed to complete the game. Additionally, this movie improves the previous movie by 2 frames.

ActRaiser (1990) is a critically acclaimed SNES game which combines two major gameplay phases: a god simulator and an action platformer. You play the role of God "the Master", who awakens from his slumber only to find that the human civilization is completely wrecked, and hordes of demons are roaming free. The Master has three roles: to open new locations for humans to inhabit, to deal with the catastrophes happening there, which usually have something to do with grotesque monsters, as represented in side-scrolling action stages, and to help develop human civilization anew by controlling it during the overhead phases through a bow-wielding cupid who also repels mischievous demons, as presented in the form of an overhead simulation.
This is an improvement of 14:11.48 over the original run of this game from 2004.

Commentary from the authors is available as subtitles in the MKV and YouTube video, or through this script if watching in the emulator.
