This hack of Super Mario World contains a Star World which contains themed levels that connect to various locations on the map. Like the original Super Mario World, these levels can be used as a makeshift warp zone. This movie demonstrates this path - navigating the Star World to charge straight to Bowser, leaving much of the game untouched.
This movie is 00:03.57 seconds shorter than the previous movie as a result of many small optimizations throughout the run, as well as a few big ones. See the authors' comments for more details.
The homepage for Super Demo World, including the patch to be used on a Super Mario World ROM image, and the program used to make the hack, is available online.

This is the 10th published movie of Super Mario World that beats the game by clearing 11 of the 96 exits, the shortest route intended by the game developers. Of all the previous movies, not one had obsoleted its predecessor by more than 15 seconds. This movie sets a new record by beating the previous movie by 00:22.68 seconds and clocking in under 10 minutes. Ironically, Mario dies in the process.
The authors of this movie have found (more) new glitches to save time. The notable differences in gameplay are:
  • Plays a level which was not previously played (Yoshi's Island 1)
  • Skips Iggy's Castle
  • Optimizes Bowser fight
We recommend reading the author's comments to understand how the new glitches are used in this movie.

Acknowledged as one of the best Mario games of all time, Super Mario World is a must see for fans of classic games. This run completes the game fully (all 96 exits) and makes use of almost every known glitch to make it as fast and exciting as possible.
This TAS by bahamete, Kaizoman666 & Masterjun is an improvement of 06:43.97 minutes over the previous movie. The improvement comes from new glitches and better optimization.

This movie has a full Atlas Map encode, which shows the standard encode overlaid on a zoomed out map.

This is the 11th published movie of Super Mario World that beats the game by clearing 11 of the 96 exits, the shortest route intended by the game developers. This movie seems to be slower than the previous publication. However, barring emulation differences, this movie's in fact faster by 00:00.22 seconds, clocking at just less than 10 minutes. Ironically, Mario still dies in the process.
Not much is different from the previous publication, except for:
  • Grabbing a mushroom in Yoshi's Island 2 instead of Yoshi's Island 1, thus saving time;
  • Better block duplication in Yoshi's Island 3;
  • A potentially more entertaining Big Boo fight.
We recommend reading the authors' comments for more details.

There are many hacks for Super Mario World, made with Lunar Magic, but few of them offer a whole new pleasurable game. The Second Reality Project is notable for being the first hack not made by the author of Lunar Magic that is still considered to be a decent game. The game spawned an Award-Winning series of hacks known for pushing Super Mario World to its limits, pulling in features from other games, and still adding on a few things of its own. This hack, The Second Reality Project Reloaded, is a remake of the original hack with all new graphics, custom music, and other great additions to help set the game apart.
This hack can be regarded as a true sequel to Super Mario World, picking up where it left off. Bowser has hatched a plan to rebuild his airships from Super Mario Bros. 3, and brings along his kids for support, hoping to use his newfound power and henchmen in the "Second Reality" to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom once and for all. Mario (and Luigi) must travel to the strange new Second Reality and face foes and puzzles they've never seen before. The game contains 8 classic worlds, as per the standard in previous games, as well as a special Bowser World, a Sonic World used as a short cut system similar to the Star World from Super Mario World, and one other...
In this run, bahamete abuses the game early on to quickly gain a feather prior to the game officially featuring it, leading to early entry to the Sonic World accessible from the various Koopa Castles. Whereas normal players on average need a good two hours to beat this game, thanks to plenty of flying, and a massive amount of glitching, bahamete beats this game in a mere 34:40.18 minutes.
For a very nice welcomed twist, this run does not feature the usual Bowser Copter fight you've come to expect in Super Mario World and its hacks. Rather, we get to see Mario blaze through one of the longest levels ever to be featured in a Mario game, and ends with a fight reminiscent of an old NES classic.
