Crime City is a 1989 beat 'em up game that was developed by Taito for the arcades. The game involves police officers Tony Gibson and Raymond Broady, who receive a call during their day off that a huge amount of prisoners have broken out of prison and committed a number of large crimes within a very short timespan. They have managed to occupy a shipping port, rob a bank, and kidnap the mayor, among other things. It's up to the two of them to solve the problem as police officers by doing a very '80s move, killing all of them.
This was the game used in TASVideos's Dream Team Contest 11, where groups of tool-assisted speedrunners compete to produce the fastest tool-assisted speedrun within a given deadline. This movie is the combined result of all those efforts. Here, you can witness Raymond Broady die and get shot multiple times in the speedrunners' quest to beat the game as fast as possible.

In this port of an arcade game, the eponymous avenging spirit has been summoned by his girlfriend's father to rescue her from a crime syndicate holding her hostage.
As a ghost, the protagonist has the ability to possess enemies with a selection of different abilities, but that's rarely seen in this run.
In order to pull off the rescue, three keys are needed; these are retrieved in this run so as to obtain the best possible ending.
EZGames69 and WarHippy improve the previous TAS by 1612 frames (if emulation differences are not accounted for), thanks to better strategies and optimization.

You can watch the complete run being played back on a console.

Prehistorik Man (not to be confused with the game of the same name on the SNES, which is the sequel) was a platform game for the Game Boy, made by Titus Interactive. This game is actually a port of Prehistorik 2, which was made for MS-DOS and Amstrad CPC. Even with the major cuts out from the original PC game, Prehistorik Man seems to still be a rather faithful port, and pulled off some very interesting technical feats for the Game Boy.
CasualPokePlayer and WarHippy complete the game in record time.

Blast Corps is a driving/puzzle/destruction sandbox video game by Rare for the Nintendo 64. A wheeled carrier hauling a pair of defective nuclear missiles to a disposal site is locked on a straight-line course there, and the slightest jolt will cause them to detonate. Unfortunately, there are a LARGE number of obstacles in that straight-line path. The Blast Corps, a cleanup crew made up of former military personnel, have been called up to clear the way for the carrier, lest it hit something and the missiles detonate. To do this job, the Blast Corps team has access to a wide variety of vehicles to destroy the obstacles, including a rocket-launching motorbike, a somersaulting mecha robot, and a dump truck.
In this run, WarHippy completes every task in the game as quickly and efficiently as possible, including getting the platinum medals in every level. This includes all 21 carrier levels and all 36 time trial levels. The trick of switching to truck/carrier view during the main levels — done in real-time speedruns to reduce lag — is not used for the sake of the viewers being able to see all of the destruction happening in the run. For more information on the production of the run, you can read the author's notes.

Note: The flickering during the fade transitions and other graphical glitches are due to inaccuracies and bugs in the emulator used for this run.

Star Fox 64 is a 3D rail shooter for the Nintendo 64. It was the 2nd officially released game of the Star Fox franchise (not counting the cancelled Star Fox 2 on the SNES). The game takes place within the Lylat solar system where Fox, Falco, Slippy, and Peppy all are on a mission to defeat the evil mad scientist Andross.
This TAS by WarHippy shows the game being played on expert mode (which is only unlocked after having completed the game prior) while also aiming to get as high of a score as possible on all the levels. Sometimes the player has to take a death near the checkpoints to kill a few extra enemies to get a higher score.

Genpei Touma Den (1990) is a PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 port of the arcade game of the same name. Its gameplay is comprised of an unusual combination of top-down, platforming, and beat-em-up action, each with its own camera perspective. The plot follows the samurai Taira no Kagekiyo who has risen from the dead and is fighting his way across Japan to defeat his enemies.
The game was featured in Dream Team Contest 8, and this run is an improvement upon the winning submission. It uses a warp to skip much of the first half of the game, and also employs damage boosts and RNG manipulation to reach the end in record time. The submission notes contain more details.

If Sonic the Hedgehog had a love affair with a golf ball, then the result would be Action Pachio. Giant evil robots have kidnapped Pachio's family and friends and now he must roll and jump his way through six different worlds in the solar system to save them all and defeat the ne'er-do-wells.
This is an improvement of 24.22 seconds over the previous movie, thanks to better overall optimisation.

Eek! The Cat is a game based on the old cartoon series of the same name. Your goal is to kick and shove an NPC to the exit of each level while avoiding enemies and obstacles, and all to the tune of some sweet music.
This game was originally planned to be released as Sleepwalker, this is why it's so dark (it happens at night) and has this specific gameplay of pushing the sleepwalking people to where they belong.
This is an improvement of 434 frames over the previous movie by WarHippy.

Firestriker is an overhead view action video game that was released on December 17, 1993 in Japan and on October 1994 in North America for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
You are a knight charged to save the four kingdoms of the world, except normal weapons are ineffective against the monsters. Instead, you must use your sword to strike a glowing orb called the Trialight like a pinball around the screen. The Trialight is used to destroy enemies and obstacles as you make your way through dungeons.

Prehistorik Man is a caveman-themed platformer by French development studio Titus. It's colorful and enjoyable, and WarHippy gives you quite a tour of the game. Just make sure you don't start swinging a club at everything you see after watching it.
This run is 1 minute 24 seconds faster than the predecessor movie due to general optimizations.

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends is the video game adaptation of the 60's cartoon series staring Bullwinkle, a moose, and Rocky, a flying squirrel. The story begins at the dedication of the Frostbite Falls Rocky and Bullwinkle Museum. Unfortunately, the not-so-nice Boris and Natasha have disguised themselves as security guards for the museum and managed to steal some of the priceless artifacts. Unlike the NES version, developed by Radical Entertainment, it's actually of average quality, perhaps since it was developed by Imagineering Inc. instead.
WarHippy retrieves the priceless artifacts in record time.
