Mystic Defender is the USA version of the Japanese game "孔雀王2" (Kujaku-Oh Ni, which means "The Peacock King 2"). Except for changing the clothing of the hero and deleting the intro and the names of the stages, everything seems to be the same.
Because Peacock the hero is not a very smart hero, he cannot walk and use his arms at the same time (a common video game character disability). Thus he must jump to be able to use his arms. If he is charging a bigger shot when he lands, he forgets to walk for a few frames, so you cannot charge up a shot too early. It's all very delicate.
This is Highness' first published movie here.

An action-packed wild-west shooting game converted from the arcades. It doesn't have all the levels and characters of the original, but makes for an interesting movie none the less.
In this run enemies blindly spray bullets at the main characters, naturally missing every shot as bad guys generally do. (Heroes, no matter where or when, can be assumed to have plasma shields.)

Superman is a game about a man of steel, in tights and underpants on the outside. Invulnerability, moving cars and planets, super-speed, superhuman intelligence - all of those would not be seen in this movie. It was probably made in the beginning of his career. Instead you can enjoy groovy music Sunsoft composers of those times were known for.

This game is considered to be extremely hard, especially for a speedrun. One hit equals death, and your character moves very slowly. Some quotes about this game:
Spacecow: Knowing how easy it is to die in this game, you certainly do cheat death an awful lot.
Frenom: I got the original of this game and I cant even make it to the next level without dying on Easiest.
daniayaw: This game is _impossible_ to beat without savestates..
The only things keeping Toki alive during this movie are the buggy hit detection and about two metric tonnes of luck.

Gumshoe is a game developed by Yoshio Sakamoto of Nintendo (known for his work on the Metroid games). Using the NES Zapper accessory, shoot the enemies and obstacles in the hero's path or shoot the hero himself to make him jump over them on his way to save his daughter from the Mafia.
Since the game is an autoscroller, highness aims for maximum kills and score instead of time.
Due to regular flashing caused by the use of the Zapper and the ending, viewers prone to epileptic seizures are strongly discouraged from watching this movie.
