The Adventures of Bayou Billy (1989) contains a trinity of genres: beat 'em up (like Streets of Rage), sniping (like part of Golgo 13), and car racing (like Rad Racer). In the game, "Bayou" Billy West fights his way through Louisiana en route to New Orleans in order to save his kidnapped girlfriend, the luscious Annabelle Lane.
The American version of this game is a lot more difficult than the Japanese one (Mad City), although this video makes it seem easy.

The Adventures of Captain Comic is an unlicensed port of an MS-DOS game to the NES. It was created by Color Dreams, a company famous for bypassing the NES' lockout chip and producing poor quality unlicensed games. The story is that galactic hero Captain Comic must recover three treasures which have been stolen away and hidden on the remote planet of Tambi.
The author, Jules, picks up all three treasures and completes the game in only seven and a half minutes. This run is 32 frames faster than the previous run of this game by Randil.

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle is an awful licensed game based on The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The game consists of five episodes (stages) of terribly bad side-scrolling platform action. Players can switch control on the fly to either Bullwinkle or Rocky and will have to do this as each character has their own unique abilities. While both characters can jump and throw bombs, only Rocky possesses the ability to fly while Bullwinkle can charge enemies with his antlers. Both of these abilities sap energy for no reason.
Luckily, TASeditor abuses a glitch in which holding Select sort of freezes the condition of the character, meaning it doesn't cost energy while going fast. Therefore, he reaches a time of just under 4 minutes.

The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, known in Japan as Happy Birthday Bugs and in Europe as The Bugs Bunny Blowout, is a Kemco video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is a sequel to The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, which was released the previous year. As the beginning of the game tells you, Bugs Bunny is trying to get to his 50th birthday party, and he needs to get past the numerous obstacles and enemies in his way.
Several factors make this game quite difficult. For instance, after taking damage, Bugs cannot swing his hammer until the damage blinking stops. When an enemy is hit with the hammer but doesn't die, he is pushed back a little. These factors make it tricky to coordinate multiple hits on a boss in a row. Also, some of the later stages are quite mazelike with their network of warp entrances (similar to warp pipes in Super Mario Bros). In addition, a TASer needs to manage heavy lag and avoid collecting too many bonus carrots (so that fewer time-wasting bonus games are played after the stages).
fcxiaopengyou improves the previous run by 34.24 seconds, thanks to better optimisation, better lag management and a slightly different route.

The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle is a frustrating action puzzler. In it, you take control of Bugs as he collects carrots while avoiding enemies such as Sylvester the Cat, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote. Equipped with nothing but an occasional boxing glove which he can throw and some invincibility potions, Bugs must eat his way through 60 levels without getting trapped by a mob of Looney Tunes.
In this run, the author, Brandon, exploits the game's AI, which is anything but intelligent. Only one of these enemies follows actual movement, while the others will track your input, even if the input changes nothing. As such, the author is able to often render the enemies useless, allowing him to take the most optimal path. When he can't do this, he tries to find the best possible workaround, often pausing for the exact amount of time to make it past a baddie. As a secondary goal, Brandon also attempts to maximize the score without losing time. For more details, as always, please see the author's notes, and also make sure to watch the captions provided in the encodes.
The author has also created a run of this game's "Special Levels".

This run has two YouTube streams. The first contains no input display while the second one does. This was included as the luck manipulation is heavily based on input and it's hard to follow the run otherwise.
All encodes also have the author's commentary in the form of subtitles.

The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle is a frustrating action puzzler. In it, you take control of Bugs as he collects carrots while avoiding enemies such as Sylvester the Cat, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote.
This game features 4 "Special Levels" which can be accessed either by the "No Carrot Signs" found in several levels or by a password. In this run, the author, Brandon, completes these difficult levels with absolutely no help from the boxing gloves and potions featured in the main game. All he has to work with is precise movement and luck manipulation, and although this, coupled with the numerous enemies, make these levels far less trivial than the main ones, the completion time is still relatively small. Much of the length of this movie is a result of the unavoidable and abnormally long tube scenes in S4 and S1. For more details, as always, please see the author's notes, and also make sure to watch the captions provided in the encodes.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods (Mandarin: 塞尔达传说-三神之力) is an NES demake of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past by bootleg game developer Mars Production. The gameplay and layout of the game is very similar to A Link to the Past, albeit constrained by the hardware it was developed for: some dungeons from the original game are entirely absent, the graphics are simplified, and the music consists of original tracks that include some Chinese folk songs and classical music. Another interesting difference in this demake is that Link collects coins instead of rupees.
crazyjesse completes the game in record time by exploiting a few glitches related to the Pegasus Boots to make Link move really, really fast, all the time. The author even manipulates which music tracks play throughout the run so that the least laggy music is selected.
A note about the Moldorm fight in this movie: the game crashes on a real console whenever Moldorm is hit by anything other than a dash attack, but curiously this does not happen when emulated. Tiger Jenny is an unfinished NES homebrew game that serves as a prequel to Ittle Dew. Taking place 1000 years before Ittle Dew, you play as Jenny Tiger, a legendary warrior who unfortunately met her demise in a toothbrush incident. She must fight and defeat the Lichious Turnip, the leader of the Turnip race that threatens Jenny's race. Jenny initially starts out with a very short ball and chain for a weapon, but it can be upgraded to be longer, making it resemble the Vampire Killer from Castlevania.
The game doesn't actually have a proper ending as the final boss, the Lichious Turnip, didn't have a battle encounter programmed for him. Nevertheless, Cephla and ThunderAxe31 reach the Lichious Turnip in record time.

It is one of the first shoot 'em ups to implement the usage of smart bombs, which in this game destroy everything around you within a large radius. There are also drone attack helicopters that you can pick up that can fight right beside you.

Following the defeat of the evil triad in the previous three Ultima games, the world of Sosaria changed beyond recognition: continents rose and sank, and new cities were built, heralding the advent of a different civilization. Unified by the reign of the benevolent monarch Lord British, the new world was renamed Britannia. Lord British wished to base people's well-being on the ethical principles of Truth, Love, and Courage, proclaiming the Eight Virtues (Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Justice, Sacrifice, Honor, Spirituality, and Humility) as the ideal everyone should strive for. The person who could accomplish full understanding and realization of these virtues would serve as a spiritual leader and a moral example for the inhabitants of Britannia; he alone would be able to obtain holy artifacts, descend into the Stygian Abyss, and access the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom.
