The Bubble Eater starts at the bottom right. He will chase you around the play field and if he catches you, you lose one of your lives. Pin starts at the top of a row and moves down. If you are hit by Pin, you pop and a life is lost.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is a puzzle spin-off of Super Street Fighter II Turbo first released on the arcades in 1996, then ported to several home consoles. The game works on a mechanic of normal blocks (which can group together into power gems), crash gems (which destroy gems of the same color), and counter gems sent over from opponents that count down until they turn into normal blocks. Blocks fall in pairs and after the 25th pair a diamond gem appears which destroys all gems of the same color on the playfield.

Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 is the second arcade game in Arika's Tetris: The Grand Master series. The Grand Master 2 introduced the less-intimidating Normal Mode to attract more casual gamers, as well as an all-new grading system in Master Mode, the continuation of TGM's original gameplay.
Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 Plus is a free upgrade of TGM2, which added TGM+ Mode and the famous T.A. Death Mode that is played in this movie. This mode is notable for starting at maximum gravity (pieces drop from the top to the bottom in 1 frame) and increasing in speed from there; as the level increases, animations play faster and the delay before a piece locks in place becomes shorter.
Masterjun completes the T.A. Death Mode in record time while using wall kicks to speed up horizontal piece movement, collecting all 6 Gold Medals, and also achieving the Secret Grand Master grade. The in-game time is 02:40.40.

You are Rockford, and you have to dig through monster infested caves in search of diamonds. In each level, you must collect a certain number of these diamonds in order to open a portal to the next stage. Enemies can be squashed by falling boulders, which are released when the ground below them is removed or they are pushed onto empty ground. Be careful, though, because these can also squash you. In later levels, difficulty is increased by many puzzle elements and shorter time limits.
There are 16 levels to be completed and five different skill levels available, which affect the number of jewels which must be collected and the time limit.

Jumpman Junior is a game developed by Randy Glover, who described it as a "lite" version of Jumpman containing 12 levels for users without disk drives. In it, you need to defuse all of the bombs placed on Jupiter by terrorists. To do this, you must climb up ladders, touch the vines, and, of course, jump.
DrD2k9 improved most of the levels from the previous run by route changes and RNG manipulation for a total time save of 00:04.06 seconds.
Note: The character should not be confused with Mario, who was originally named Jumpman. Interestingly enough, Glover cited Donkey Kong as inspiration for this game. It is not known whether the naming is a coincidence or not.

Boppin' is a puzzle game developed by Accursed Toys and published by Apogee from 1994. The heroes, Yeet and Boik, notice one day that their arcade games have no monsters, and find out that Hunnybunz has taken them all away in his attempt to create a pure, anodyne world free of anything that could be perceived as controversial. Yeet and Boik set off to free these monsters at the behest of other video game heroes, because what else would they do if there was nothing to fight against?
This game was somewhat controversial in its time. The original version had disturbing animations when the players got a game over, but later versions had to have them activated by a command line parameter. Boppin' is also known for its bizarre imagery and its numerous religious and political references.

A French company called Genoq has developed a series of new genetically engineered bioweapons, which have run out of control and taken over Genoq's Singapore lab. The main character is a courier making an emergency delivery by jetpack of an important package to one of Genoq's top researchers, Jean-Paul Derrida (a name likely inspired by the philosophers Jean-Paul Sartre and Jacques Derrida), and who is happily oblivious to the carnage until the lab's doors lock behind him. Combining the Nintendo DS's touch screen capabilities with a classic puzzle game and adding in a touch of the tool-assisted yields... a tool-assisted run of a classic puzzle game, joining the ranks of several other quirky movies similar in character. Further, the game only counts moves in quarter turns, making the number of moves used even more impressive.

Disney's Lilo & Stitch is a 2002 side-scrolling shoot 'em up platform video game based on the Disney animated film of the same name that was released on June 7, 2002 for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Disney Interactive, with Ubisoft distributing the game in Europe and Australia.
The game takes place at an unknown point of time after the original film. An extraterrestrial bounty hunter kidnaps Lilo and brings her aboard the spaceship laboratory of a robotic, mosquito-like alien named Dr. Pestus, who plans to use her as food for his genetically-modified mosquito army. Stitch must go out into space to rescue Lilo and defeat Dr. Pestus.
In most levels, the player takes control of a four-armed, plasma blaster-wielding Stitch who must run and gun his way past enemies and various other obstacles to complete the level. In puzzle-platform-styled levels, the player takes control of Lilo as she sneaks around the spaceship to find a way to escape and contact Stitch. In tube shooter-styled segments, Stitch must fly a spaceship to reach the next level, shooting down other enemy ships and dodging obstacles along the way.

In Fisher-Price: Firehouse Rescue, the player controls a fireman driving a firetruck. Both the fireman and the firetruck bear the familiar style of the popular Fisher-Price toy line. The object of the game is to rescue pets from trees and people from houses in the immediate neighborhood. There are 2 parts to this task: the first part involves navigating the maze-like streets from an overhead perspective in order to find the troubled residence. Once the house is reached, the second part of the job is to maneuver the firetruck's ladder underneath the person or animal in need of rescue, from a side perspective, and letting them down to safety.
While the first level confines the entire neighborhood to a one-screen maze, later levels span multiple screens, thereby increasing the challenge. Further, later levels also add time limits and additional keys that the player must collect before attempting the rescue mission.

He seeks out an answer to his vision problem in a mystical manor called the Denine Devil Mansion, where he meets a scientist who offers him a game. To the average player, Tetris is a fast-paced action/puzzle blend where reflexes become a huge factor as pieces pile up and speed increases dramatically. For one with perfect reflexes, however, it's no longer a challenge of 'where does the next piece go to make lines / avoid piling up?' so much as 'where can I put the next piece to make things look the most interesting?'.
This run exemplifies that philosophy, exploiting the ability to manipulate the next piece that appears to the fullest in the service of creating a pattern which would be nigh impossible to duplicate in real world conditions.
If you thought that TASing was only about speed, look no further than this example to prove otherwise.

It warps directly to the 18th level and fills half of the field quickly to be able to operate short distances in the top part of the field. From there on, it only gets Tetrises (4-line clearings) until the score is maxed out.
A glitch involving pressing several directional buttons at once is used to manipulate luck for the next pieces. Flickering of the next piece block and piece in play results. Of course, the fun doesn't stop there, the L blocks also have their say in getting Tetrises.

In it, you take control of Bugs as he collects carrots while avoiding enemies such as Sylvester the Cat, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote. Equipped with nothing but an occasional boxing glove which he can throw and some invincibility potions, Bugs must eat his way through 60 levels without getting trapped by a mob of Looney Tunes.

Only one of these enemies follows actual movement, while the others will track your input, even if the input changes nothing. As such, the author is able to often render the enemies useless, allowing him to take the most optimal path. Released in 2000 exclusively in Japan for the ill-fated Neo Geo Pocket Color, Delta Warp was doomed to obscurity since its inception. It was the sole game developed by IOSYS inc.
The goal of Delta Warp is to gather all the 'Delta Power units' in each stage as quickly as possible. To do this, you must navigate your 'Delta' around the stage, changing its colour between white and black to match the colour of the Delta Power unit. Moving across the stage with the joystick will cause the Delta's colour to alternate with each space. Gomola Speed is an action/puzzle PC Engine game, released in 1990 in Japan by UPL. Its gameplay is described as a cross of Snake, Flicky, Qix, and Gauntlet - you control a cyber-worm's head, have to collect segments to increase your worm's length, use it to encircle spheres of "food", and then reach the exit while dodging enemies along the way. This is done over the course of 25 Acts which throw several kinds of enemies, mazes, keys, power-ups, and bosses into the mix.

Most dominoes stand forever, just waiting to be toppled over. But no one can stop Mr. Domino - he has to run around everywhere, causing mayhem everywhere he goes. Help Mr. Domino use the domino effect to trigger tricks and traps on unsuspecting objects and people!
No One Can Stop Mr. Domino is a puzzle game which sees you controlling the titular Mr. Domino (or one of his friends, if you prefer) as he zips around levels which can be best described as a racetrack. As the title suggests, you can't actually stop Mr. Domino - however, you can guide him around the track, speed him up and slow him down. He'll need to dodge obstacles as he aims to activate "tricks" which are placed around the board.
This is an improvement of 00:14.68 seconds over the previous run due to a change in domino placement in the level Grandpa's in The House, which leads to a shorter but possibly more disappointing ending animation. Mr. Domino proves once again that he cannot be stopped.

Once a proud, spiritual people, Mudokons have largely been reduced to slavery. Now they are the disposable, abusable workforce of the Glukkons.
This movie is just as odd as the world it features. Abe for no reason decides to commit a baseness upon Glukkons and destroy all the labor force they have industriously collected. He doesn't care that it's his own mates who will die. He's not concerned that he too will be milled in the end. The only thing he has to say about it is "Oops". Twisted creep.

Rather than having multiple themed worlds with a boss at each, there is one temple with 20 floors and a boss after every four floors. More importantly, though, many important powerups are lost after each floor in the Master Game mode. This means the player needs more creative routes for laying bombs to get the fastest time.

The kingdom of Bizyland is in trouble when the evil ruler of the neighboring land, Lasyland, uses a magic mirror to swap kingdoms and kidnap the princess. It's up to the king's chosen warriors to reverse the spell cast by the mirror and save the princess.
Cacoma Knight in Bizyland is a Super NES video game created by Datam Polystar. It is a hybrid of action and puzzle elements. Each level is a single screen. The first image that the player sees is a landscape, for example, a forest or a town. The image will then fade into a "corrupt" version of the landscape, for example, the trees become rotten and buildings become ruined. Each screen has a "Qualify" target that shows how much of the screen must be cleared before the game continues to the next level. The player can then use the Magical Chalk to section off an area of the landscape, using either the borders of existing cleared sections or the borders of the screen. When a full shape is completed with no holes in its borders, the smaller of the two sections created is "purified" and returned to the original state shown at the beginning of the level.

In this movie the authors control two characters (Goofy and Max) simultaneously. This allows for a good deal of team work as one character can go get an item while the other heads for the exit. When there is no multi-tasking to do, the authors do a good job performing antics with one or both of the characters.

A puzzle game seen from a top-down perspective. The goal of each level is to open the exit by pushing a magic stone on a designated spot. May can also push objects one tile ahead without moving herself. This is often used to get the stone over water that she can't cross herself. May's other ability is to create magic bubbles. She can create bubbles in three different sizes. Bubbles will pop after a certain amount of time, depending on their size. If they pop while next to the stone or another bubble, the stone or bubble will be moved one space. Eryi's Action is a sidescrolling platformer where Eryi must charge through a series of devious traps and enemies in order to stop Farta and recover her melon. There are so many of these traps, in fact, that the developers designated the game a "trapformer". In many cases, the most obvious path through an area does not work, and only clever thinking or trial-and-error will allow Eryi to proceed safely.
Aside from the traps, the game is designed to be very similar to Super Mario Bros.: enemies are defeated by being jumped upon, a flagpole must be reached at the end of each stage, and there are even mushrooms (which can be used as trampolines).
In this run, Bernka uses tool assistance to barely steer Eryi away from many traps and even fool several others, chaining mushroom and enemy jumps and moving precisely to beat the game in the fastest time possible.

Instead of jumping, the player is able to control the direction of gravity, allowing Captain Viridian to flip between the floors and ceilings of the environment. The graphical style of the game is heavily influenced by the Commodore 64.
In the spirit of the retro games' secret hunt, 20 aptly named Shiny Trinkets are hidden throughout the game. The author makes sure to collect all of them in his movie.
Additionally, this TAS is completed on the game's no-death mode, which removes all the cutscenes and dialogues, as well as allows collecting a specific Trinket without having to die. Dying once on this mode prompts an instant game over, making it an especially brutal challenge in unassisted conditions. As this naturally prohibits the skips and glitches that abuse forcible deaths, it allows the audience to see the game in its entirety and, indeed, enjoy its level design and excellent chiptune-style soundtrack.
If you would like to see the game completed with no holds barred, make sure to check out the glitched any% and the game end glitch TASes that complete the game a lot quicker than one would have imagined!
