Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is a puzzle spin-off of Super Street Fighter II Turbo first released on the arcades in 1996, then ported to several home consoles. The game works on a mechanic of normal blocks (which can group together into power gems), crash gems (which destroy gems of the same color), and counter gems sent over from opponents that count down until they turn into normal blocks. Blocks fall in pairs and after the 25th pair a diamond gem appears which destroys all gems of the same color on the playfield.

Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 is the second arcade game in Arika's Tetris: The Grand Master series. The Grand Master 2 introduced the less-intimidating Normal Mode to attract more casual gamers, as well as an all-new grading system in Master Mode, the continuation of TGM's original gameplay.
Tetris the Absolute: The Grand Master 2 Plus is a free upgrade of TGM2, which added TGM+ Mode and the famous T.A. Death Mode that is played in this movie. This mode is notable for starting at maximum gravity (pieces drop from the top to the bottom in 1 frame) and increasing in speed from there; as the level increases, animations play faster and the delay before a piece locks in place becomes shorter.
Masterjun completes the T.A. Death Mode in record time while using wall kicks to speed up horizontal piece movement, collecting all 6 Gold Medals, and also achieving the Secret Grand Master grade. The in-game time is 02:40.40.

You are Rockford, and you have to dig through monster infested caves in search of diamonds. In each level, you must collect a certain number of these diamonds in order to open a portal to the next stage. Enemies can be squashed by falling boulders, which are released when the ground below them is removed or they are pushed onto empty ground. Be careful, though, because these can also squash you. In later levels, difficulty is increased by many puzzle elements and shorter time limits.
There are 16 levels to be completed and five different skill levels available, which affect the number of jewels which must be collected and the time limit.

DrD2k9 improved most of the levels from the previous run by route changes and RNG manipulation for a total time save of 00:04.06 seconds.

Yeet and Boik set off to free these monsters at the behest of other video game heroes, because what else would they do if there was nothing to fight against?

Submarine 1: The Basement is one of those point-and-click "escape room" Flash games that were popular during Flash's early heyday. In the game, you are stuck in some kind of underground labyrinth and you must figure out how to get out of there with barely any clues to help you.
Luckily, Spikestuff knows exactly what to do and more and gets to the surface in record time.
There is also an alternate encode that expands the map for better comprehension of what's happening.

In this sequel to Boxxle, Willy's girlfriend has been kidnapped by a UFO and now he wants to earn enough money to buy a rocket and rescue her. And what better way is there to earn money than pushing crates? And there are lots of crates to be pushed in all 120 levels of the game. The new levels are the major difference between Boxxle II and its predecessor as there are no graphical changes to speak of. To solve all these levels, you'll once again have to push crates onto certain spots, which is made difficult by the fact that you can only push but not pull them so that it can easily happen that you push a crate into a dead end or block your own way. A password records your progress, but there is no battery to save your self-created levels.

Buster Brothers, also known as Pang, is a well-known series of puzzle games. This is the first release of the series, ported to the Game Boy. The Author decided to pick the GB version for TASing because the levels are simpler, which makes the run shorter and easier to optimize.
The plot is rather simple. Some "bubbles" are attacking the Earth and you must travel across the world busting them. The game has 50 stages divided into 17 locations: Mt. Fuji, Mt. Keirin, Emerald Temple, Australia, Taj Mahal, Leningrad, Paris, London, Barcelona, Athens, Egypt, Kenya, New York, Maya, Antartica and Easter Island. It offers the option to start from Leningrad and thus skip 18 levels. However, p4wn3r ignored this and went through all the levels to show the entire game.

Catrap is a platform/puzzle game where a boy and girl work through a series of 100 puzzles. This breaks a curse and returns them to human form. Completing each level involves climbing ladders and moving blocks so that each enemy can be defeated. A rewind function is present for trail+error attempts to get to the solutions. But that feature isn't needed here.
This run makes clever use of the switch mechanics. Switch can't be used immediately after defeating an enemy, so other actions are performed while the enemy falls off the screen. Attacking from the ladder is slightly faster, the author uses this and other similar tricks to help save time.
