Earthworm Jim is the unlikely story of an earthworm who finds a suit with super powers and goes on a rampage to protect Earth and his puppy Peter(?). The game follows the absurd spirit of the story: for example, the suit can use Jim for a whip, there is a boss who attacks by vomiting fish, you fight lawyers in hell, and in one level, you swing on bungee cords made out of snot.
This movie improves the first run of this game, which was done on the Genesis version, by 00:16.95 seconds. However, the actual improvement is much larger since the Special Edition contains additional levels that are also played through in this TAS.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for the Sega CD is an adventure fighting game and a licensed adaptation of the 1994 movie of the same name. Unlike the movie, the game is entirely in the monster's point of view as he figures out who he is, what he wants, how the populace reacts to him, and why all the animals and people want to kill him. It also has some fighting game-like segments, complete with a health bar, and the usual mechanics to be expected from a 2D fighting game.
Induviel here knows exactly what Frankenstein's monster wants and uses the monster's bald, leathery head to headbutt their way into beating the game as fast as possible.

Unique to the Sega CD version of the game is a special arrangement of remixes of the original songs, which are chosen and played here for additional entertainment.

Watch as CasualPokePlayer decides to make the longest Publication by aiming for maximum score of 99-points. This run takes 33 days to complete.

As the minigame is fairly long for a standard YouTube upload, you can grab the downloadable if you want to experience the full 33 day trip that the TAS completes. As the file is 171GB large, using an external download manager is highly recommended.

Prince of Persia is a 2D platformer that is commonly regarded as a progenitor of the cinematic platform genre. Rather than following the more common jump-and-run mechanics, it focuses on careful advancement through fairly complex levels, emphasizing the protagonist's vulnerability and survival aspect. Taking place before Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the plot follows Sonic as he travels to Never Lake where he finds the orbiting Tiny Planet, home to the Time Stones, encased in stone by Dr. Robotnik, who seeks the Time Stones himself. marzojr and Tuffcracker both save 21.8 seconds over the previous run thanks to the discovery of a few new zips and screenwraps and more optimizations.

There is an alternate encode made in a modified emulator that hacks the camera so that it stays on Sonic even when he's offscreen.

Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix (commonly shortened to Sonic Megamix) is a work-in-progress multiperson disassembly modification of the original Sonic the Hedgehog videogame for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, developed by Team Megamix and more recently moved to the Sega Mega-CD.
The game features the ability to play as one of five different characters: Sonic the Hedgehog, Mighty the Armadillo, Shadow the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna. It is an extensive reworking of the original game, featuring new art, music, abilities, layouts, and other things.
The authors complete the game in record time using glitches such as "zips" to gain super fast speeds.

Kyle Reese clearly had a difficult time trying to save Sarah Connor in the hit movie The Terminator. But when the Sega CD video game tie-in's difficulty is set to "Super!", you wonder just how the hell Kyle made it two steps before dying. It really makes you feel like Kyle must have felt in a hopeless future where everything can kill within a few seconds frames. You know that a game is too hard when even the TAS looks like it is struggling just to keep the character alive.
