Knuckles' Chaotix is one of the few Sonic games that doesn't feature Sonic himself. The story differs between the English and Japanese versions of the instruction manual that came with the game, but they both involve Dr. Robotnik trapping Knuckles' friends on a special island. Knuckles must now save his friends and discover the mystery behind the island. The gameplay is similar to that of earlier Sonic games, with the added gimmick of being bound to a partner with an elastic tether, giving the game its reputation for wonky rubber band physics. After each stage, the next level and your next partner are selected via roulette.
Tuffcracker improves on the previous run by 3:29.42 by making use of more modern and quicker routes and glitches that have been used by real-time speedrunners. For all the details on the glitches used and the routes taken, you can read the author's notes.

Adventure is a first-party game released in 1979 for the Atari 2600. The goal of the game is to find the enchanted chalice and return it to the gold castle while avoiding the three dragons guarding it. It was the first action-adventure game, and also the first game to have an inventory, a continue system, and a widely-known Easter egg.
The game has three skill levels: Skill Level 1 has a small and straightforward map, Skill Level 2 has a bigger map and more elements such as a bat that flies around and takes stuff that it touches, and Skill Level 3 is basically Skill Level 2 but under a randomizer.
ShesChardcore plays Skill Level 3 and manipulates both the randomizer to get the best map and the bat to juggle items and deliver the chalice to the gold castle while the player character sits outside the castle gate and gets eaten by a dragon.

Dragster, released in 1980 for the Atari 2600, is the first video game developed by Activision. It was programmed by David Crane, who later wrote Pitfall! The object of the game is to either beat the player's opponent across the screen, or to race against the clock for best time, depending on the settings used.
The game is well known as having the first console speedrun with the world record of 5.51 by Todd Rogers in 1982 according to Twin Galaxies. This record is known as the oldest, unbeaten world record in all of speedrunning.
MrWint & Omnigamer decided to try and match the elusive 5.51, and disassembled the entire game looking for how the 5.51 was achieved. After conducting their research, they found that the long sought 5.51 was outright impossible to achieve within the internal conditions of the game. After lots of flamewars, the now infamous Todd Rogers's record has been taken down, leading to his ban from Twin Galaxies.
This run achieves the fastest possible time of 5.57 on player two while also maximizing the distance, with player one completing the track in the lowest amount of input frames. It also improves the predecessor movie by 00:00.10 seconds, which translates to 00:00.02 seconds if you discard emulation differences. The improvement comes from the fact that the game processes the second player first, so he's the one taking the lead this time.

Road Runner was released for the Atari 2600 in 1989, making it one of the last games officially released by Atari for the Atari 2600. The game was a port of an arcade game of the same name, which was also ported to several other consoles like the Commodore 64.
You play as the Road Runner, and you spend each level running to the left trying to dodge obstacles and avoid Wile E. Coyote. The road is littered with landmines and speeding trucks, which will kill the road runner on contact. They can also kill Wile E., but he respawns again after a few seconds. Wile. Entirely unrelated to the TV series seaQuest DSV, Seaquest is a submarine combat game in which you control a water vessel and must pick up divers at different levels of depth while avoiding fish and enemy subs. While most of the game takes place underwater, you also must resurface for air from time to time so your air meter doesn't run out.
Like Tetris, the game ends when the score reaches the maximum 999999. Watch as Lobsterzelda torpedoes 90 levels-worth of submarines and rescues as many divers in record time.
This movie is actually 15:22.17 minutes slower than the movie it obsoletes, but does not use emulation glitches as the previous movie does to quickly reach maximum score. The judgement history for Seaquest is complicated, as well is this movie's own judgement. See the submission notes and judgement for more information.

Unfortunately, Tomarc lost his sword in the same cave, so he must now find his sword and rescue Senta before the cave bats eat her alive. Special to this Atari 2600 is the ability to switch between two characters to control, Tomarc and Senta, and both characters continue to be affected by their environments even when you're not controlling them. While Tomarc is used to find the sword to rescue Senta, Senta herself is controlled to fend off the bats that are trying to kill her.
DrD2k9 decides not to go through all that trouble in this run by using a good amount of RNG manipulation to get a cave layout that requires the least amount of movement needed and controlling only Tormac to get the sword and rescue Senta as fast as possible.

As it turns out, at the highest difficulty, you can actually win the game without even moving the shield at all. ShesChardcore takes advantage of this and provides only a quarter of a second of input time, most of it just selecting the game with the hardest difficulty.
