Bubsy is on a hunt to get back his yarn, which the Woolies stole.
Bubsy can run very fast, but unfortunately he almost never gets a chance to, because there are obstacles everywhere. Unlike most bobcats, Bubsy can die by touching anything remotely dangerous, like eggs or water. Also unlike regular bobcats, he can glide through the air, has a t-shirt with an exclamation mark, and a smile you'll just be dying to wipe off his face.
This new movie by Acmlm is almost a minute and a half faster than the previous movie.

Donkey and Diddy Kong appear to have been kidnapped, so now it's up to that daring damsel of adventure, Dixie Kong, to find the missing monkeys. But this is no solo expedition; her cousin, the titanic toddler Kiddy Kong, is here to help her kick some Kremlin butts.
This is the first entry of the 105% category of this game. By using a password to remove the 'DK' barrels, the game officially enters hard mode, and the maximum percent completion is obtained. For more Kong action, you can also view the pure speedrun that doesn't collect all items.

Watch as two Final Fantasy games, V and VI (VI is also III in North American publication), are beaten with one controller's input. Since FFVI takes longer to beat than FFV, the FFV run also beats a few optional bosses which are not fought in the single-game run of FFV. The two games finish at the same time.
Since FFV is only available in Japanese, FFVI is also played with the Japanese version. The (J) version of FFVI also has an equipment glitch which is not present in the (U) version. Otherwise, this run of FFVI is quite similar to our single-game FFVI movie.

When watching sports, you're usually prepared for the unexpected. But what happens when it verges into the outright impossible?
In this superplay, watch in awe as a team is forced to score on its own goal ("OH NO! OWN GOAL!?"), the scoreboard mysteriously records extra goals that were never scored (and even rolls backwards at one point), and the very laws of physics themselves seem to get completely broken.

Kirby is a spherical character, so naturally it makes sense that he should be whacked around like a golf ball. A ball that can absorb the powers of enemies and use them to his advantage, of course!
This run aims for best score, then fastest time. A lot of hole-in-ones are scored, even at great time expense.
Note that there is a second series of courses which are similar to the original set. These are played as well for sport, before attacking the final boss and winning.
This run is 01:52.25 minute faster than snc's previous TAS. There's no improvement in the number of hole-in-ones, but his secondary goal is done significantly faster!

Here we see Mega Man destroy Dr. Wily's army yet again, only this time on the SNES. You would think poor old Wily would learn from his past 6 mistakes, however this isn't so.
This version plays on the Japanese version, Rockman 7. This change affects times outside of the player's control, but is still counted towards the movie's length.
Unlike our other run for this game, this run collects all of Mega Man's upgrades. Part of this involves running into Protoman in two stages before fighting him for his shield. For more details, see the run's comments.

Once again, it's up to Mega Man to destroy Dr. Wily's latest army of Robot Masters, only this time on the SNES. You would think poor old Wily would learn from his past six mistakes, however this isn't so. On the up-side, we get another superb TAS of this famous series.
This is an improvement of approximately 30 seconds of in-game time thanks to some new glitches, including using the Rush Coil to wall climb and abusing Noise Crush to instantly kill some bosses.
This version plays on the North American version of Mega Man 7 whereas the previous movie plays on the Japanese version. This change affects times outside of the player's control but which still get counted towards the movie's length, making this movie appear longer than the previous movie.
There is also a 100% TAS of this game.

In this top-down shooter (playing vaguely like a cross between Contra and early Zelda titles), the protagonist is charged with cleansing a research lab of robotic invaders from virtual reality who escaped by means of an unknown accident. There are a large number of flashback cutscenes, only two of which can be skipped.
Here the author fires weapons more rapidly than the game allows for under real time conditions to defeat enemies ridiculously quickly.

Every 300 years, the Star of Death blocks the sun and all newborn lives die. No living thing could escape this fate. But one day, a baby survived, grew up, became the Devil King, and took over the world. He even opened the Abyss Gate and released the devil lords within before suddenly vanishing, leaving the world under the control of the four devil lords.
300 years later, the Death Eclipse hit the world again, and one baby survived again. This child grew up and became the Holy King, and with the support of many friends, drove the four demon lords back to the Abyss and resealed the Abyss Gate. It is now 10 years after the next Death Eclipse, and the whole world is eagerly watching for the new child of destiny. Will it be a Devil King or a Holy King?
You can play through the story controlling any one of the eight main characters - Julian, Monica, Mikhael, Harid, Katarina, Thomas, Elena, or Sarah. The story is common for all eight characters, and they often join together and share the same piece of the story.
The author, knbnitkr, completes the game in only 21:59.65 minutes by using a materialization bug to glitch out the game and skip right to the last dungeon. For more information about this bug, see the author's comments.

Super Metroid MockingBird Station is a Super Metroid hack by Xaggoth.
Here is the plot, according to this site:
Samus has been hired to investigate MockingBird Station. Others have come before her, but none of them have returned. Upon arrival, the station sealed the hangar's doors, blocking her way out. After scanning her systems, Samus finds that she must disable the station's power generator before she can leave. Unfortunately, the most direct route to the generator has been blocked and she must take a more roundabout path. The only thing that she knows is that much of the station is in lock down and she will need to release bulkheads to open more of the station. A larger bulkhead in engineering is blocking the alternate route. Disabling the generator will destroy the station, but there is no other option.
Hoandjzj decided to run this game collecting the least amount of items possible, when the hack itself forces the player to collect them. Don't expect to see Mother Brain in this video, since it isn't in this hack.
The in-game completion time is 00:19.

To play the Snes9x movie file, you will need the IPS patch for this hack. You can get it here. You will also need to apply this patch to an unheadered version of the ROM; if your ROM has a header, tools such as SNES Tool can be used to remove it.

In this unforgiving RPG that is The 7th Saga, the player picks a character and goes on an epic quest to find the seven magical runes, since each of these runes contains a great power for the one who wields it.
kirkq and Nitrodon, the players who made this tool-assisted speedrun, chose Lux the Tetujin to complete this quest as fast as possible, forgoing a stat boosting glitch, and performing luck manipulation to defeat bosses at an impossibly low level!

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is one of the most popular games in the Mortal Kombat series. It was released to arcades in 1995 as an update to Mortal Kombat 3 and was ported to the SNES the following year. It introduced several new characters and two new gameplay modes.
In this run, SDR plays the hidden tournament mode and humiliates the game by showing off a number of humorous tricks and glitches.

Red Alarm is a shooter which frequently draws comparison to Star Fox, save that it is full 3D (instead of being confined to a single path); in this respect it is perhaps more comparable to the long-unreleased Star Fox 2. There are six stages, each ending with a boss.
The author frequently moves diagonally; this allows for faster motion than simply flying straight forward.
