Entirely unrelated to the TV series seaQuest DSV, Seaquest is a submarine combat game in which you control a water vessel and must pick up divers at different levels of depth while avoiding fish and enemy subs. While most of the game takes place underwater, you also must resurface for air from time to time so your air meter doesn't run out.
Like Tetris, the game ends when the score reaches the maximum 999999. Watch as Lobsterzelda torpedoes 90 levels-worth of submarines and rescues as many divers in record time.
This movie is actually 15:22.17 minutes slower than the movie it obsoletes, but does not use emulation glitches as the previous movie does to quickly reach maximum score. In each level, you must collect a certain number of these diamonds in order to open a portal to the next stage. Enemies can be squashed by falling boulders, which are released when the ground below them is removed or they are pushed onto empty ground. Be careful, though, because these can also squash you. It's a classic detective story, with you waking up to a dead body with total amnesia - you don't know who you are, or how you got there, and you don't know who the corpse is, either. In Déjà Vu II, however, you *do* remember who you are, and you also remember that you owe some mobster a lot of money.

Keitai Denjū Telefang (携帯電獣テレファング) is a series of video games produced by Natsume and published by Smilesoft. The games are monster-battling games, where the player contacts various creatures using a cell phone-like device called a D-Shot in order to get them to battle the foes he or she will encounter. The name of the series derives from Keitai, which is Japanese for "cell phone," since phoning creatures is an integral part of the game, and "fang," to symbolize the various beasts involved.

Mega Man Xtreme 2, like its predecessor game Mega Man Xtreme, pretty much copies content and bosses from the main line of Mega Man X games. However, Xtreme 2 gets ideas and designs from a much wider range of games, ranging all the way from Mega Man X to Mega Man X5. For instance, there is a Parts system allowing upgrades to your characters. However, there is also an original story (though it's still as silly as many Mega Man storylines), along with some new stage designs and bosses.
Noxxa and Alyosha improve the previous run by about 2 seconds if emulation differences are not accounted for, thanks to using Zero throughout the entire game instead of splitting between X and Zero.

Pokémon: Yellow Version is part of the first generation of games within its famous series, known for having a very large number of beneficial glitches. In fact, the games can be completed in less than one minute of in-game time by save data corruption as shown by this run, and completed in around 10 minutes using a more "conventional" glitch, as shown by this run. These runs break the game, and avoid much of the gameplay intended by the developers.
In contrast, this run by TiKevin83 refrains from using any memory corrupting glitches and beats the game in a little over an hour and half. The Pokédoll trick is used to skip a dungeon in the game, but that is considered a minor developer oversight and does not corrupt the memory.

Damage counts upwards, with knockback from attacks that hit you becoming more severe as your damage increases. Fighting controls are also simplified, making it very easy for even your non-gaming friends to pick up and play.
Super Smash Bros. Melee offers fighters from the wealth of Nintendo characters like Mario, Bowser, different Pokémon, Link, and Kirby. They can either fight through the single-player modes like Classic, Adventure, and Event Mode, or they battle it out against other characters in a four-player frenzy.

One of Mattel's subsidiary companies had rights to produce Battlestar Galactica toys, but it was discovered late into development of this game that Mattel itself did not get the rights to the name, so this game had its name changed to Space Battle but still featured the not-Cylon sprites.

Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 (usually referred to as Smash 64) is the first installment in the Super Smash Bros. series, developed by HAL Laboratory, directed by Masahiro Sakurai, published by Nintendo and released in 1999. The game became a commercial success, spawning various sequels on future Nintendo consoles, with many of the games in the franchise still having thriving competitive scenes to this day.
This movie is focused on entertainment, beating 1P Mode on Very Hard difficulty as Fox McCloud while defeating opponents in the most technical and stylish ways possible. This movie obsoletes the predecessor movie as it is seen as being more entertaining.

Even the worst video games ever made can make for a good TAS.
This movie speedily plays through "The Cheetahmen", game #52 of a compilation of horrid games called Action 52. While the game is pretty horrible in general, it has a rather catchy BGM.
EZGames69 and Samsara improve the previous movie by 44.76 seconds, thanks to better optimisation and using a warp in the 5th level to spawn the last boss early in a glitched up level.
There are also two published runs of the unreleased sequel, Cheetahmen II. One plays through all the levels, whilst the other starts from level 5 from power-on, due to abusing the fact that some games do not initialize their states before reading them.

Bio Hazard is an unlicensed demake of Resident Evil for the NES by Waixing. Its Mandarin name is 生化危机 Bio Hazard, where "生化危机" means "Resident Evil." The game's physics and aesthetics are based off of the GB game Resident Evil Gaiden.
Like the 3D game it is based on, this game requires the player to navigate a zombie-infested mansion while managing inventory space, ammunition, and puzzle items. Unlike the original Resident Evil however, shooting zombies is accomplished via a mini-game where a moving reticle must be stopped when in range of a target. Also unlike the original game, ammunition does not stack, and items are not droppable.

This run reaches a good ending by "dying" with health remaining. This is done by activating a scripted explosion sequence on the roof of the Nakatomi building while standing just out of range of the blast. In-game time is advanced quickly by damaging John's feet and making repeated trips up and down the stairs. In addition, Heinrich's position is manipulated so the detonator can be collected quickly.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods (Mandarin: 塞尔达传说-三神之力) is an NES demake of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past by bootleg game developer Mars Production. The gameplay and layout of the game is very similar to A Link to the Past, albeit constrained by the hardware it was developed for: some dungeons from the original game are entirely absent, the graphics are simplified, and the music consists of original tracks that include some Chinese folk songs and classical music. Another interesting difference in this demake is that Link collects coins instead of rupees.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series, released for the Wii in 2008. While its core mechanics are the same as its predecessors (where the genre’s traditional health bar is replaced with a percent counter, with the goal of knocking opponents off the stage instead of reducing their HP to zero), Brawl changed many aspects of the game from Super Smash Bros. Melee, resulting in the game generally being considered the "slowest" in the series as a result.
Brawl is the first game in the series to have a dedicated story mode, called "The Subspace Emissary", which is the main focus of this TAS. The Subspace Emissary is mostly composed of side-scrolling platforming levels with cutscenes and beat-’em-up sections called "Ambushes" - similar to games like Kirby Super Star - while also containing the traditional versus matches and bosses like its predecessors.
