Crime City is a 1989 beat 'em up game that was developed by Taito for the arcades. The game involves police officers Tony Gibson and Raymond Broady, who receive a call during their day off that a huge amount of prisoners have broken out of prison and committed a number of large crimes within a very short timespan. They have managed to occupy a shipping port, rob a bank, and kidnap the mayor, among other things. It's up to the two of them to solve the problem as police officers by doing a very '80s move, killing all of them.
This was the game used in TASVideos's Dream Team Contest 11, where groups of tool-assisted speedrunners compete to produce the fastest tool-assisted speedrun within a given deadline. This movie is the combined result of all those efforts. Here, you can witness Raymond Broady die and get shot multiple times in the speedrunners' quest to beat the game as fast as possible.

Set in a post-apocalyptic New York, Double Dragon is the story of Billy and Jimmy Lee, twin brothers trained in the fighting style of Sou-Setsu-Ken. The Black Warriors demand the Lee brothers disclose their martial arts secrets in exchange for Marian's freedom. The Lee brothers set out on a rescue mission to crush the Black Warriors and save Marian.

Dragon Unit (also known as Castle of Dragon) is an obscure arcade game about a castle with a dragon in it. Perhaps it's not the most original sounding game; but it does have nudity, gratuitous violence, and Engrish to make up for it. The action is very fast paced, and with the help of TAS skills, the dragon master is dispatched quicker than a hard boiled egg.

This run of the original arcade game completes the first cycle in 6 minutes and 27.17 seconds. We also have a run of the NES port, but the game engines are so different that a comparison between the two times doesn't make any sense. Ghouls 'n Ghosts is the sequel to the brutally hard Ghosts 'n Goblins, and is brutally hard in its own right. This run is of the original coin-op version, which is most similar to the Genesis one. One of the major differences is less armor from chests.
Creative use of damage and picture perfect boss fights combine with some glitchy looking jumps as xipo takes on Lucifer's many demons. This is a game based on the completely "unique" concept of an evil boss trying to take over/destroy/do whatever with the world, and despite the Earth being filled with about 7 billion occupants, you are the only one who can stop it.
At first glance it may seem odd that, although the game is two player, only one player is used, and that's Player 2. Player 2 was chosen because her aerial attack gives an enormous speed boost. It is also one of the few attacks in video games that operates on frame precision, so smashing out a 30Hz rapid-fire on the controller will lay the beatdown pretty quickly.
That, combined with the fact that half the enemies in this game are of the standard "walk around and shoot" variety, allow the heroine to zip through the game with total reckless abandon. Few games allow a TASer to do that, so this is a rare opportunity indeed.
The game is eerily similar to Mega Man 7 and Mega Man X. It even has pick-throwing miners.
This is a 24 second improvement over the previous movie by the use of some new tricks. These are explained in the author's comments.

Formerly known as Halloween Harry, Alien Carnage follows our hero Harry as he single-handedly fights off an invasion of aliens intent on zombifying the populace while rescuing a large number of hostages they have taken. It is fast-paced at the general expense of control quality.
The original creators, John Passfield and Apogee Software, generously released the game as freeware in 2007 and it can be downloaded from here.

Several months after the freeing the Vorticons from Mortimer McMire, Commander Keen (Billy Blaze) finds out that an unknown race called the Shikadi are planning to destroy the Milky Way. He sets course towards Gnosticus IV on a quest to discover their location with the Oracle's aid. Upon arrival, he discovers that the Shikadi have captured the Council Members. Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine (1991) is a part of the popular Commander Keen saga, developed by id Software. It is a direct continuation of the previous episode of Goodbye Galaxy, in which Commander Keen (Billy Blaze) has learned from the Oracle of Gnosticus IV that the evil Shikadi plan to blow up the galaxy with their doomsday device, the Omegamatic (It slices! It dices! It causes a 100,000 light year-diameter quantum explosion!). Naturally, he sets out to sabotage the machine and stop the Shikadi.
Using a series of glitches, Keen completes only four stages to get to the end game, only one of which takes any significant length of time, and destroys the Quantum Explosion Dynamo, the core of the Omegamatic in the impossibly short time of 2:02. In the process, he manages to inadvertently prevent the Shikadi from accomplishing their escape (though you have to watch the ending very closely to figure out that this has happened here).
