Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles is the first spin-off game in the Assassin's Creed franchise, and is a prequel to the first game. Altaïr is tasked with finding The Chalice, an artifact that is said to be able to unite all factions and end the Crusades.
Unlike the main games in the franchise, Altaïr's Chronicles is not an open-world game but rather a hybrid action-platformer - some sections play similarly to games in the Prince of Persia series where the player must do careful platforming and deal with traps and hazards, while other sections are more like the main games and feature fighting, stealth, and assassinations.

Noddy and the Birthday Party is a platform game, developed by Tiertex Design Studios and published by BBC Multimedia, which was released in Europe in 2000. The game features the British children's literature and television character Noddy, and is set in Toyland, the fictional universe in which he resides. In the game's plot, Noddy has to prepare a birthday party for his friend Big-Ears. His tasks include gathering various items, such as party invitations, balloons, and candles.
This game was critically panned for its awkward controls, but that's a good thing in the eyes of a TASer. This run takes advantage of the game's extremely poor physics and level design and beats it in record time; Ready Steady Yeti prepares the whole birthday party in just seven and a half minutes.

River City Ransom is a goofy game that deserves a goofy TAS. This movie showcases cool tricks and some glitches that don't necessarily result in the fastest completion. We also have a movie which aims for speed.
Selected Quote from the authors:

In River City Ransom, Alex and Ryan face off against gangs of students and evil bosses to win their town back and rescue their girlfriends. Several bosses need to be found and beaten before you can enter River City High and beat up the final bad guys (including an obvious imitation of the Double Dragon heroes). The gameplay also has elements of an RPG, where you can level up your character with shop purchases, but none of that is done here.
A glitch that is abused often in this run, pressing Left and Right at the same time, causes the player character to do all sorts of crazy things and usually lose all of his power. This is done to reduce lag during running segments and abuse collision detection.
This run obsoletes the previous one by nearly a minute due to much more optimization of boss fights and some new tricks. Weapons are also used more, so expect to see some chains and trash cans!

This is a run that only uses Ryan, who is normally Player 2. This has some very important differences compared to the two-player speedrun. In this run, CoolHandMike and EZGames69 complete the PCE mode of the game, saving 49.76 seconds over the previous run. Time savings within each level often result from lag reduction, which requires strategic routing, weapon usage, and enemy manipulation. The authors' comments provide details.

Cyborg 009 is based on the manga and anime of the same name, which began a long time ago. There are eight characters that you can use, but one of them is set and you can only choose two others for each mission.
The run uses 008 (Pyunma) and 005 (Geronimo) most of the time. 008 can jump forward quickly and swim in water, while 005 does heavy damage to bosses. Various power-ups are collected to level-up 009 (Joe) due to an event near the end of the game.

Along the way, he battles several notable U.S. political figures such as Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, Ross Perot, and Rush Limbaugh.
