[=images/tv.png] The "Events" [class] is composed of runs that have been showcased or presented in an event/marathon format, and are incompatible with typical publication rules.

!! Overview
* Aims to highlight and preserve TAS content showcased in an event setting.
* Runs that are incapable of being independently sync verified are allowed.
* Event publications cannot be obsoleted.

!! Technical requirements
* Submissions must include a rehostable video of the event in question.
* All contributors to an event run must be properly attributed, and any objections raised by contributors must be taken into account.
* Multi-game events must be split by run and submitted individually.
* An input file matching the game and console must be provided, though it does not have to accurately reflect the run.

!! Event requirements
* The run must be showcased in a way that isn't otherwise publishable.
** Publishable event runs [2513M|will be properly published to their appropriate class].
** Showcases of already published runs will be treated as commentary for that run, unless the showcase is transformative enough to warrant a separate publication.
