Done. Check please. I guess I encode Genesis wrong, as it must be narrowed horizontally a bit, right? Must fix my script.

The case with max coins is that it really brings much action to SMB, while the current published runs have very much common and people are somehow used to them. Except for the warpless walkathon, that really LOOKS different.
Why was lowest score rejected? Because regardless of tons of action ity provided, it was actually slow. Nowhere to hurry, just waste all the time. It looks awesome for those who don't know the glitches, it's kinda SMB trickfest. It looks awesome for most of us... for first dozen of minutes. Then we AGAIN get used to it, see nothing really different and (not speaking of myself) get bored.
Now if we take max coins (be it all pipes, or no pipes, or some pipes), something different can be shown and seen. As all the levels have something different, it woild come up with different decisions.
Let's THINK different. Let's TRY, and if no one is interested, only then say it's worthless. Thinking different may be risky, but staying usual kills the spirit of NOVELTY.

Replaced Nahoc's encode for publication, because it was done in pure 30 fps, partially killing the shadows. Now no action is missing and no blending is applied either.

I like EmuHawk very much. Consonant with "tomahawk" and really has much to do with emulation. But there's an objection.
An animal made of Emu & Hawk must look really crazy. So TASHawk isn't assotiated with ostriches and looks better.

Isn't it not "almost impossible" but flat out impossible because you can't back track? In 1-1 there is a coin block you wouldn't be able to get if you take the pipe (which is required to get the free floating coins). And even if you only wanted to collect free floating coins in 2-1 if you go in the pipe to collect the coins you wouldn't be able to collect the ones up in the clouds.
Max coins vs. All coins. The winner is obvious. Just compare the routes each time.

I'd love to see an ALL COINS TAS too, but there's no exact count of them for each area. Or is it? Also, that's the question - warpless or warpful? And there are hidden corners with many coins, but they skip other coins that aren't secret.

The irony there is that he has zero HP while being inside the boss, so no one will be left confused. But partial getting behind the BG really looks unique for this game and never happens in real time (4th snapshot). As well as passing through the green branch (2 & 3). And the first one shows that the level fades out at uncommon place.

Some of RAM may be displayed on screen, for example speed may be tied to the character's onscreen position, that makes things way easier. In 2.1.6 rewind works in lua too, so I see no problem.

This looks pretty much common for any emulator. You force them to sync perfectly by advancing, leaving both to run usually gives timing desync.

EDIT: Not just don't excuse for long submission texts, but expand them as much as you can! This allows people to get way better idea of what's going on, gameplaywise and TASwise. Note every tiny trick as long as it's unique or not obvious.

If it is different concept than .tas, developed for non-cheating, one won't cheat with it. Nestopia actually allows save/loads during the movie, but loads go to the movie, it doesn't rerecord. Sure, slowing down the application or some advanced hacking can cheat, but it looks more like exception.
If BizHawk is going to grow & include other consoles, cheat-free movie format could attract casual gamers attention. Otherwise, I doubt, due to mere conservativity.
And what does nestopia have to do with renaming the extention?

If you want to interest casual gamers, there must be an option to disable savestates (and slowdowns) for a movie (be it some special extention raher than .TAS). If anyone want's to highlight that he wasn't using ANY of so called cheats, he may show this movie. For now only Nestopia can provide movie free of save/loads.
