Couldn't spot any big improvements over the published run tbh, probably voting no.
Excuse me, what are you talking about?
He's either joking or bitter because his 96-exit run will be obsoleted by this.

Yes, that's currently the only way. You could bind buttons from different controllers to the same button, but there isn't currently a way to set specific angles for the joysticks of multiple controllers.

The commentary group was a great idea. Does it include runs with subtitled YouTube encodes, like the Cave Story run?

I agree. This shouldn't have been unGrued.

Uh, right. My bad. That was a Yes; it was entertaining because of the speed at which the ship blasted away the intruders and finished the level.

Thanks for the beautiful encode, Cronikeys! I don't know what you used to encode it like that, but it reminds me of playing the game for the first time with the hq2x filter. Amazing run, guys. Loved seeing all those new glitches and optimized routes. Looking forward to the next WIP.

Yes, it currently only works for one controller. I remember seeing a Melee TAS where someone modified the window to allow 2 players and used it for his run, but he didn't share the code or his Dolphin rev.

Meh for entertainment. The enemy dodging and bridge were cool. No reason not to publish it to The Vault though.

The Arcade version is the original. Why not TAS that one? Is this port very different from the original or the (really good) NES port?

The run should be played on the hardest difficulty, meaning a full-size table, not a 2x2 grid. I don't think this should be published.

It's an interesting idea, but the result isn't very entertaining (mostly the game intro, cutscenes and building up the superswim). This could only be published as a Moon due to the goal (not any% or 100%), so it would have to be entertaining to be published at all. If we had a Demo tier, though, this could be published there. Also, something has to be done about how the site times runs of GC/Wii games that run at 30 FPS, either including something in the dtm format or in the site code to time these runs correctly.

I guess there isn't a speedrun of this game to compare to, but can a time like this be achieved in real-time? Not voting yet.

Though entertainment is no longer a factor, the submission must still follow the rest of the site rules (must beat all known records, be at least mostly optimized, etc.). If there is a lot of audience support, it will be published as a Moon. If a lot of people found it boring or not very good technically, it will be published to The Vault. This page explains The Vault for you.

Since when did the poll question change?
New site system. Games can't be rejected for entertainment anymore. A bunch of No votes will just land the run in the new Vault.

Not only was this boring, but it looked really unoptimized. No vote.

Oh, right. I guess it won't happen then, unless a Demo tier was created.

I think the published run should be in the moon tier, since it was made for entertainment and is currently (officially) the most entertaining run of Super Smash Bros. to date. This run should definitely be published in the Vault though. Finally, with the new site system, both the most entertaining and the fastest runs can be published on the site!

Yeah thank you CoolKirby
You're welcome. I was the one that encouraged you to submit this (and Desperados Train), and now there's no reason for it not to get accepted into the Vault.

You deserve it for all the effort you put into this! Can't wait to see your optimized improvement too.

I don't think this could make it into the Vault, since it isn't any% or 100%. If I remember correctly, it can make it into Moons if the audience finds it entertaining enough, but otherwise, it must stay in Gruefood.
