What error message do you get? Just a crash? Make sure this is true for you, if Dolphin crashed:
Should the emulator crash at this point examine the User\Dump\ directory of your Dolphin installation ($HOME/.dolphin-emu/GC on Linux) and create the folders Audio and Frames if either of those are missing.
I have an error massage: "Error dumping frames to AVI." It appears every time before sth appears on the screen (loading...; no memory card inserted; developer's splash screens)! In my documents there is a folder Dolphin Emulator with all needed folders inside. It actually dumps audio in .wav format and I can listen to it after I stop the emulation. I downloaded Dolphin 3.5 and did the same as guide says, but after I play recording, it gives me an error: "Failed to load DSP ROM. This file is required to use DSP LEE" and etc. I copied dsp_rom and dsp_coef from Dolphin which I used to make the run (4.0.2), after that it writes me that cache in copied files is wrong and recorded sound will be smashed! I preesed No anyway because it doesn't solute the problem by clicking Yes. Then it asks me which codec I want to record. The video records, but it causes desync in the run: sth like emulator skips some dozens of frames at the beginning or loads the game longer. I'm not sure the movie will play right if I get the right dsp files for 3.5. Maybe A/V sync for 4.0.2 x32 will fix the error with dumping frames? Help me, please!

Link to video I think it's a real TAS. It's 11,88 faster than quadrazid's TAS!

Dolphin with GCpad is quite sync-stable, but not absolutely stable. Also, the movement seems odd. You measured that is the fastest movement method?
I will improve this stage, of course! I think jumping will be faster if I make the second jump before I land. Also I'll try 1-frame presses in menu input.

If it doesn't require mouse/internet, try it now: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15178 If it requires mouse, try it when Hourglass Resurrection releases.
Sorry for talking not on the topic, but is it really announced Hourglass which supports mouse??

Sounds similar to my case. It just refused to do it no matter what I tweak. Maybe software/hardware/drivers are involved.
Maybe because of containing russian not english letters in the derectory!? Some software can require this!

If it's possible to control the aiming stick with a mouse and aim the crosshair on the head without "over-aiming" (i.e., I just aim on the head in slow motion, shoot, and kill the enemy without any TAS-inputs), I'd use =)!

How we know, everyone should look for every useful information before TASing the game! In my search I randomly watched a video of discovering John Romero, the real boss of Doom 2 (his head), on GBA using patch with NOCLIP to get into Icon's forehead! I read one interesting comment: "You can get there without the patch...in certain instances you can glitch the walls in the first room of final level and walk out of the map , which means that it's possible to glitch some kind of walls and get out of maps! What I need to do is to get to the last map and try this glitch, but now I'm looking for the fast way to get there! =) Are there any Game Genie codes on this game for a warp? I looked for them but haven't found any yet! Another way to get to the last map is by multiplayer: if at least 2 GBAs are connected, the line Multiplayer appears in the main menu where you can choose the map and type of playthrough. How to emulate the connection on VBA-rr? I can configure all 4 possible controllers in Options>Input. For those who interested in John Romero's appearance in this port: Link to video Thanks!

That the only speedrun was done on the easiest difficulty which was done live at SDA live. (Basically no Hardest exists is what I'm agreeing with you here.)

Some of us know the minimum of the game, many just cannot accept it just by the look. This is due to the knowledge of the other versions of Doom.

It's easier to explain but harder to do, some games just doesn't get enough attention which is a pain. This makes it harder to route and plan. The minimum can only be given, it's all that can be worked with... and I agree it sucks, so I suggest to keep trying and optimize on yourself.
Yeah...! Spike, you're stubborn! =) I'm going to work on other Doom: second part on GBA! I have an idea about this port beside absolutely strangeness and ease of port itself, and if the idea works, I'll TAS it by all rules and improves (topic will be soon)! After some time, if my wish comes back to me, I'll continue doing my run! "Some of us know the minimum of the game, many just cannot accept it just by the look." - the game needs more brightness and multi-route maps though most maps are tunnels which you should run through, along the way killing monsters! "... some games just doesn't get enough attention which is a pain. This makes it harder to route and plan." - honestly, I don't understand why people TAS Atari games! I understand it's easy, but new generation of gamers, who didn't play it, just don't understand what is going on!

In general, my TAS is rejected! I look forward to when someone will make a real TAS on this game which will be accepted! Use the corrections in discussion of my run: http://tasvideos.org/4267S.html and watch my 9-map WIP on my Youtube channel to see how you should pass! Use RAM Watch on Bizhawk to manipulate the highest damage of your guns. Read Graviton's comments in WIPs: they actually can help you! Don't honor me to make the run: I have no wish at all to do it! I'll try to help you, if you want. Good luck!

Neither of those games has an ending, so even if they were TASed, runs on them wouldn't be accepted on this site. If you have Windows 8/8.1 and want to play around with TASing Fruit Ninja, you can check out Fruit Ninja for Windows 8 and see if it works in Hourglass.
Scorerun/playaround/inhuman skill TASes still have merit, even if they can't be published on tasvideos proper.[/quote] No, I know it won't be accepted! It's just for fun!

There is a way to TAS android and java games??? Give me links on emulators, please!!! I'd like to TAS some games: Android: Angry birds (and GO! too), fruit ninja, lego city, and WR score in flappy bird. Java: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (i don't remember more games as I moved to android some years ago), P.S: I have a great list for android, but I think if emulator is ready, it won't support more than one touch at the same time for now.

What the hell is this??????
The game creaothceann is showing is F-Zero. It is a game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. He is just providing an example of what investigating and optimization looks like. Then to show others and give in their input rather then submitting the run. So in other words is to post your progress in the game. Or post what discoveries you have found. Then wait for feedback or to continue what you are doing.
I know it's F-Zero on SNES. I still can read the subject =) I mean what are the green numbers series? Now I know that it supposedly connected with investigating and optimization! Interesting, where should I enter algorithms like that (I know it doesn't suit my games!)?

Actually, let me explain one important reason why doing something on a 'red frame' can hurt your run and cost time. For example, say you are running down a hallway in Duke Nukem while holding the UP key. If you hold that UP key when the frames go from 'white' to 'red', you are wasting time because you could have made a new movement once the frames became 'white' again. In my case, the game I'm currently working on has a lot of lag frames, and I need to make sure not to keep a button held during lag. Otherwise, I'm wasting time.
Another you explanation isn't important. I carefully look after everything during the run and if I do sth wrong or lose time, I load a savestate and do it again =)

Dimon, when your frame counter is white, that is when the game accepts your input (the buttons you are pressing on a frame). When the frame counter is red, the game currently is not accepting input. That's a major reason why displaying your frame counters are important.
