It is possible to do a Doom TAS using the Chocolate Doom Source port? That the closest thing to the DOS original , so no DOSBOX needed.

If you're talking about the Cheat Code Converter panel, it is unfortunatly broken. Game Genie code will not work and the Action Replay code will get parsed as Game Boy Game Shark code instead and will not work. To add RAW cheat, you need to go on the Cheat panel instead for now.

Just to catch up on news, I would like to know how MAMEHawk is going and if it is possible to grab a copy in order to test some arcade games. I remember doing some test months ago, around august.

Great stuff about the upcoming cores! Can't wait for the Odyssey one. I've also seen that there is a Fairchild Channel F core that seemed to be in development at one point.

+1 on this Although the important info is here, I think it need organization and at least a basic search bar. To be frank, I agree with dart193. Even on the website, a complete guide for Bizhawk could really help it to be more accessible outside of the TAS community. I mean, the emulator is really amazing and is extremely potent, but I rarely heard about it outside of the TAS world, which is unfortunate because it has a high compatibility rate compared to many standalone emulator.

Wow, this is awesome to see a possible MameHawk! This could lead to endless possibilities if it ever expands to many of the obscure system it can emulate outside of Arcade that no other emulator does. But yeah, lets first start with Arcade.

This is awesome progress can't wait to play those Vectrex games! I actually have the system, bought almost 9 years ago as a gift to myself when I got 18. I still have a few games with it along with overlays and everything still work.

I think it would need a good up-to-date tutorials on how to use it, because not everybody is familiar with Linux or compiling. It's not as simple as opening an emulator, choosing a game and then start the tool acting process.

I remember playing with my brother on the PC version of Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory. We used to play networked games of it and had a blast!

I could try to take on the test tonight. EDIT : I'm able to play Kirby's tilt 'n tumble with GBHawk, including the pop feature that causes him to jump on the enemy after doing a quick swipe with the mouse. I am able to do that jump to the north and south, but can't to the east and west (I don't remember on an actual GBC if you could do that) Also, I've noticed that the Game Boy Color boot's jingle is much higher pitched than it should (or even on Gambatte or a real GBC)

I also enjoy game breaking glitches and specially insane glitched combo in fighting games. The Mortal Kombat 2D games are notorious to feature both crazy glitch and combo that the hardware can still handle. Another example of awesome game breaking glitches are the Generation 1, 2 and 3 of Pokémon games. Like flipAM say, when you just don't know what is happening to the game is also something of a feat to do as a TASer perspective.

Neshawk is more accurate than QuickNes, so if its some obscure game or pirate, might be better on it

While browsing my library of SG-1000 games, I noticed many Tawainese only games and I wanted to try them out, they are all in a non working states on Bizhawk (and also on Kega Fusion). All the games boot with the Dahjee or Jumbo Logo and reset in a loop. I highly doubt that it will be a priority to implement that adapter for bizhawk, or if there is even documentation about the special adapter and the games, but it allow you to play a bunch of SG-1000 games. According to the reference, these are all pirated games. I just wanted to share the existence of the adapters and the games if it happen that it could be implemented Source: https://segaretro.org/8kB_RAM_Adapter

Je seconde phoenix1291 sur Lagarith Il est facile à installer et du moins, pour Bizhawk, permet de créer des fichiers de haute qualité et avec un poids bien plus respectable que les autres type d'algorithme

There is a video of semeone using Lua scripts to play the game until the bot hit the max score (9 999 999) at level 836. If you look at the later level, ghost do seems to have a pattern once the "max difficulty" is hit.
