I'd like to see a list of reasons as to this. I only thought speed was the only factor in the difference which is a major choice between versions not a "level is missing/different" case changing the strategy of the game.

I know, English. Excuse it for this case. I'm just going to ask one question, and I know you both know English so it should be fine to ask. (Unless someone who knows Russian and English would translate it to Russian so we don't rely on Google Translate for some). Why not just bother making one that's better than inhouse BizHawk and create a GMV to BK2 convertor? And yes, Hawk as mentioned has a decent one already, but you can improve on it is a suggestion (since for example SNES' one doesn't work as intended for some from what I've seen, but works fine for me). The only thing that Gens has over BizHawk is 32X since well PicoDrive is a joke. Gens can still do all the things you have it set still have the better lua, interface and whatever else. But. If you have this converter then making it work towards the better emulator would be the more logical option is it not?

Yeah going to have to agree with the question of why did you use the Japanese version and not the US version as the US version is faster?

How many times do we have to tell you Zekann? (great for you to change your alias) v0.10.008a is incomplete the same version you've submitted twice in the past. This hack is still being worked on, and is not recommended for TASing. STOP SUBMITTING. If you want to upload this hack upload it to userfiles. Speaking of userfiles he's Spiked input once again. Cause you don't know how to end your input. 14863 frames of blank input removed Original Submission Judgement Notes:

Hello, Zekann, and welcome to TASVideos! Unfortunately, your submission does not meet site standards. It must be optimized and beat all known records. In addition to that, the co-creator of this ROM hack has made it known that he does not recommend TASing this game in this stage as it is still being actively worked on which will fix many of the bugs and glitches present in this current build. That being said, I am rejecting this submission.
Also I assume it's this one as the encode (looking at branch): Link to video So a cheat code was used, making this a very lazily produced TAS.

Great TAS however, as pointed out by EZGames.

Unless you're a Linux user or a person using 32bit architecture in 2018 a valid reason in using a very obsolete emulator in terms of Gens vs Genesis Plus GX (Hawk). It would be very nice to know as to why you're running Gens still and not a "love, life" throwaway joke.

And Sonic folk it's just because of Lua being your excuse and lack of a "camhack". (Since some of you are apparently Linux bound) How about you port a better Genesis emulator into something like lsnes, an emulator that goes to Linux and use that instead? Especially with this garbage:

Old Encode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qovNlu6UoQ (Just for the convenience of "at least there's one now" if you decide to make your own one.) Forgot to mention, shotgunning this one when accepted.

Now in what way are backlogs considered as "errors"? You know, for example. Earlier this week where videos uploaded on a certain day would be stuck on 360p for a couple amount of days before becoming whatever desired resolution you wanted it to begin with. Partially thanks to YouTube being down for 2 hours as Google was removing Google+ and the site wasn't fully functional for that day on the upload end.

I feel like I need to stress a point out. This is only going to be possible if those viewers download the downloadables (hires versions) since YouTube maxes out at 16k60fps. They would have to go to the site in order to see it playback for those higher refresh rates.

Yeah, I know both of them and you literally just explained 'em. They're both compression rather than raw. Personally. Rather not have to deal with having to compress a bin/cue in order to sync/encode a TAS if it's submitted in this format. .pbp is a format for PS1 games on PSP as a side note and some PS1 emulators accept it (like the dodgy ePSXe).

2 Things not mentioned in the submission text. Firmeware Settings has been changed. Just the Nickname field: Adeal Advanced Bus-Level Timing has been disabled. Both indicated by the movie file, not the author. Edit: Author has since updated the submission text to mention those 2 bits.

Spikestuff didn't make a mistake, since Spikestuff cannot provide the movie with Stars at his rank for a reason to begin with. This is normal and has happened in the past with all Star publications that cannot be Stared by literally almost everyone except feos since feos is a Starman. (I'm ignoring probably a few others that have star privileges but feos is usually my goto for this.)

Heh, the hack gets a 100% before the Vanilla. >When your backup doesn't want want to be publisher to this movie. Oh... I guess this is mine... Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Edit: Correction, they thought it wasn't a different more Dolphin-y TAS. I'll vote when the YouTube encode comes through based on the assumption it's a single video compared to the bilibili one.

http://tasvideos.org/802M.html The Biker Mice From Mars TAS, as I've already stated, uses an in-game code that 'allows me to start at the last (sixth) round of at the Championship mode with Vinnie, at difficulty level 'Super Hard'. It also gives me fully upgraded 'Engine'-parts and 'Shot'-parts.'
That TAS should have never been accepted imo. We may make some mistakes in the past that lead to movies being published that shouldn't have. These movies do not qualify as precedents.
I'm pretty sure the last time Bike Mice from Mars was used as a point of argument it was used cause it was against the ideas that it skipped a large portion of the game, and upgraded the bike to max stats and a more vanilla approach would be much needed. If that Biker TAS was submitted under today's standards it would be rejected even though it is entertaining. You can use this Top Gear as a point of reference on that one (Besides the fact it was subopitmal at points).

Then why not encoding all movies at 32K resolution, since some day 32K monitors will be commercialized?
Sure, why the hell no-- oh wait, we're currently limited to 16k on YouTube for that. (even though it displays 8k as a setting cause the feature isn't implemented correctly cough) But hang on what's this behind your ear. Downloadables!? Gasp This was the point I was facing toward cause noshitsherlock YouTube only supports 60fps like everyone knows, but what does Downloadables support? Whatever fps and Whatever Res. The only thing that'll bottleneck is the amount of memory that encoder/publisher has for PC downloadables. My point's still valid under the case of downloadables (especially when I mentioned selectable video source which you blatantly ignored).

Hang on, you're missing a few words. "...for the time being." After all, 240hz monitors only just hit the market if I'm not mistaken last year. Otherwise your sentence would've said 144hz/fps if that wasn't introduced. For a future proof case scenario why not just go balls to the walls and go maximum possible at all cases and provide secondary and tertiary as a selectable video source? We have the resources to do this for PC games.

I'm pointing out those that haven't been obsoleted by RTA but methods have also just improved over the TAS on Single Stages for example. By extension, methods found that haven't been implemented (which hasn't been obsoleted by RTA) is included here. Game's Broken. (Person working on it stalled/disappeared.) [808] N64 Gex 64: Enter the Gecko by Mukki in 49:59.93 [1237] N64 Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko by Mukki in 54:16.25 New Methods. [2051] PSX Croc: Legend of the Gobbos "100%" by RingRush in 1:18:35.43 (Duping is banned for TASing from what the author chose in what's best in entertainment.) [1523] PSX Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! "14 talismans" by lapogne36 in 28:11.70 (Proxies. Requires time to work on and a lot of routing and management.) [1862] PSX Spyro The Dragon by lapogne36 in 41:38.30 (Person working on it disappeared. Hidden Proxies. Requires time to work on and a lot of routing and management.) [3072] PSX Bubsy 3D by solarplex in 22:50.32 [1462] GBC The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX by SwordlessLink in 1:00:02.68 [2628] GBC The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX "warp glitch" by Bobmario511 in 05:39.06 A submission showed it was suboptimal, which was rejected due to bios. [1876] PSX Resident Evil "Jill" by arukAdo & Uroboros in 57:42.62 Framerules [1715] NES Super Mario Bros. "warps" by HappyLee in 04:57.31 Clean up on isle input. [1498] DS Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars "save glitch" by jlun2 in 03:42.93 (Cleaner Driving Lines. Luck manipulation to get rid of cars. jlun2 tried initially, but splicing input on DS isn't fun.) [2076] GB The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening by Bobmario511 in 03:48.55 [2709] PSX Samurai Shodown II by NhatNM in 17:10.02 (Sloppy) [2540] PSX Guilty Gear by Cooljay & NhatNM in 07:11.58 (Sloppy, Incomplete) --- I know that some of the NES Mega Man games have hidden improvements that have been dabbled on, just not touched/implemented for the latest TASes, first one that comes to mind that has this is Mega Man 2.
