Everything. Considering the alternative options for that version of BizHawk. Also because BizHawk 64bit is the current thing. Not supported, due to Jabo being a 32bit plugin.

GlideN64 (or Glide64mk2).

I mean we do have "no save/reset" which you dub as "warpless" and this just feels like it shouldn't have been submitted. I feel like this is just overdoing it in terms of categories. If I had a choice between "glitchless" (no tweaking) and "no save/reset" I'd rather just have glitchless. Also because you did bring it up. Did you actually calculate the difference in time with text between the nico TAS and you or are you just writing that to save your bacon? Since well...
I hate to say this, but there is no movie file for that run so its legitimacy is not verifiable.
That's not a legitimate reason btw. (Will vote later, Shotgun for Publication if this is accepted.)

Should be since YouTube supports that... on mobile. I'll just say the full 360 is better than 180 just mainly due to being able to view all angles on Desktop. Someone who owns a VR set and tell me if the 180 feature is possible on Desktop. (curious now)

I like how you chose to tackle the weakest point in my post which was an edit of someone pointing out something instead of going after the other point. So I'll add this one. Did you create find any values or created a lua script? Did you dissemble anything of the game or did you just jump straight into it and got a random result? I mean, I tried finding something in the game but came up short, so I was wondering if you actually created anything.

So this brings nothing to the table but being another type of Clue instad for the Genesis which is the same as the SNES version however the only gimmick is that it has "SEGA". It is slower than the SNES TAS from the start and even the one remade for the bsnes core in BizHawk to be more accurate. The fact that there is no difference in terms of gameplay to the SNES version this has a very low chance on being accepted. Abstaining Vote. Edit: It's been brought to my attention that it's slower than this other Genesis submission: #5173: Lars_Hendrick's Genesis Clue in 00:27.82 (And yes, I've accounted for the Spiked input.)

Did you also use my input ontop of that? I know it's 8 seconds and it could be coincidental. However copy+pasting was thrown around and the ending input straight matches my input.

>BizHawk 1.11.6 Question 1: Why didn't you TAS this on BizHawk 2.2.1? Heck, the major core fixes were introduced in 1.11.7. (And you can't state, because you've been working on this for a long time, since you yourself stated on TASVideos Discord that you just picked it up) Statement 1: It's best you use the latest possible version of A2600 at all times otherwise you don't know... maybe you could be improved on. Question 2: What RNG? I've power-cycled every frame up to 20, even started the game up late all still with my input and it still runs through fine without issue.

The new Pokemon Yellow submission is challenging this notion in a big way, as it doesn't go even near to completing the game, yet it's a no-brainer for acceptance. It showcases something quite marvelous about tool-assistance, and deserves its spot in the TASing folklore.
Looking at the Workbench There's Pokémon Pearl on the bench, not Yellow. Edit: So... this is a copypasta. And going on the basis of the year it was for this Pokémon movie.

You aim for "best ending" since "any%" is just a meme similar to something like "die hard%" and would be rejected most likely. It's a thing that you would submit on April Fools. (Which I planned to do this and last year but was too lazy to actually do it) On a related note. A thread for Harvest Moon already exists.

Mashing the screen. Dude like chill... You're going to destroy your DS. (And yes chill, cause you probably missed the actual frames to get to the next screen faster, mashing doesn't solve your problems.) > Does actual numbers instead of just dots. And this TAS is automatically slow. (Also the fact you went huge instead of keeping it small and clean makes it much slower than what it should/can be.) No Vote on Entertainment.

Okay, I'll admit that small blunder, cause I actually forgot about what that submission did. However. Because you like to spell my username wrong nobodycallsmetubby. (Really like that you somehow forgot your account. Password or something?) I'm going to ask a very simple question. Cause in that submission that I slightly hinted towards what I did below the now deleted video. How much input of HappyLee's SMB TASes did you use tubby? Cause I'm getting a real high number in terms of matched input right here with only slight modifications. There is a good 55% that your input is your own, but I only checked SMB "warps", as I know 8-4 you could just use his Lost Levels input instead. Now due to margin of errors with desync and the like the number 55% would most likely drop down to exactly half. For a fact. You can still do your own input throughout SMB without using HappyLee's input and still get the same time without using his input and have a different result. Heck, even HappyLee didn't use his own input for an improvement did things at a different spot and the end of the level still matched up with his previous run.

Turns out this was actually fixed in BizHawk 2.0. Before that, it would just start up looking like that. But this movie was started before 2.0 was a thing, so it wasn't an option at the time either way.
Current Hawk doesn't have these issues you're on about unlike pre-2.0 Hawk. Ya got it down, just like your undeserving No Vote? Yes vote btw, after all it was entertaining.

>Single Game in a massive collection Oh boi. Someone correct me if I'm wrong since I'm using the GBC version as a base on this question. (Yes. There's a 4th on GBC, which many sites don't know about mainly cause it was Australia only iirc, and was basically G&W3 or something.) Isn't there an "Ultra" difficulty that also applies to Retro? Regards to the TAS I'm just voting a straight Meh.

I mean you could just do what Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time did. Have an improvement found whilst in publication hell and never updated/cancelled the submission. Especially if it takes a long time to actually do (considering it's an RPG ontop of that).

I'm shotgunning this beast for publication. Alright. What I do know is that the first two warps were under the "TAStest" branding (well in your case LOTAD, what's with the Pokemon?). (Well first 3 warps, but by Warp 3 it is basically switched from a test to a real thing) I won't question why you didn't make a Notable Improvements suggesting the first two warps could or might be improvable as you did traditional input, not zippa-zag all over the joint. With that said, you did do traditional input, not zipzagging all over the joint so I'm giving this a Yes on the entertainment.

I'm not missing it at all, read my post carefully.
No you're missing the point completely feos, we're stating that you shouldn't physically modify an arcade machine to get what you want out of it. This falsifies the cabinet itself as something that's completely impossible is being done. SNES/NES/PS1/N64 (dpad) etc. all have a free pass for a simple reason. They're not analog controls, this is a stick, represented by an analog movement. The system is being modified in a way where it's literally abusing everything that's not meant to be physically possible. On directional input, it is possible to do U/D and L/R input, there shouldn't be a debate for that, but for something analog there is no bloody way doing that without ripping out the machine and getting into the inside, which is what this TAS is doing.
feos wrote:
And then, this thread: Thread #14051: Debate: allowed or not?.
There's a difference between analog input and directional input. Don't bring up threads that hold literally next to no weight to arcade machines where the main movement is analog, and it's being broken apart. This is a whole different can of worms that you're insisting belongs in the same field when it doesn't. Also I'd rather have the author who actively avoids controversy behind his TASes respond to this rather than someone who is on the outside trying to make it up and save it. Talking about can of worms.
feos wrote:
And starting from this post: Post #345991.
