To Saturn Hi. I haven't started to make a new any% movie. Most of the reason is TIME... Now I'm looking forward to see your movie (and MF's one). Good Luck, you will be the FASTEST :)

sub 20 minute any% run will be possible some day.
Is it without Space/Time-Beam Glitch? If you can record sub 20minutes without this Glitch, I think that you are god of god, yeah. offtopic: I have a new job from today. and Oh No, it will be hard work to me. ...michael flatley, Good Luck :)

michael flatley said that ClearTime-00:27 was not fastest time. So, this movie (maybe) far from the perfect. If I or someone makes a new movie of any% by michael's technique, it will be a Star. Or, michael flatley's 100%run will be a Star. Anyway, this is just my opinion. And now I don't know how to shorten 1minutes or more.

Thanks,OgreSlayeR. I interpreted like this. "If you use Missiles, Can you beat MotherBrain more fast?" If my translation is right, the answer is NO. If my translation is wrong, wow sorry...

5minutes!? and Really "Any kind of run" !? If it is true, my best time 00:27-minutes is very slow movie. ...Wow, I should be glad or sad? (:P (Edit) >Wall jumping or morph. I think that Morph is faster than wall jumping, but I'm not sure, sorry.

To Warp You're welcome. :) But I think that MF's movie will be more exciting than mine. To Locke Hm,many people think so... To OmnipotentEntity Sorry about my unchanged poor English.(^^;)
not waste your missles?
Does this mean the scene of MotherBrain's-awakening? If "Yes", 'waste missiles' has no worth.(^^;) Of cource, I don't need any missiles in Second-MotherBrain battle, and Third(Last)-MotherBrain battle.
Or is your charged beam more than enough in power to make up for its lack of speed?
If you write the FRAME of smv, I maybe understand your meaning.(^^;) Will you write it? (Or Will anyone explain to me?)

To Truncated Thanks for your understanding and explanation of "Instead". :) To MovieWatcher , hopper I'm glad, thanks! To Fihlvein Hm, basically, I agree with Truncated's idea. And rules of voting. But, I can understand your mind ,too. If I meet the same case like this time, then, maybe I want to vote. Because the new movie is probably(or surely) "improved" than old movie. (Of cource, I will not vote till I watch the new movie.)

To Truncated First, I say thanks to you. >Plan If anything, yes, I want to make a new movie, with MF's tricks. Hm, but I'll move away another city, till April-2005. And I'll be very busy with works. Maybe I can't have enough time to make it. So, I can't answer about your question, clearly. sorry. Answer in easy words: If I have enough time, I'll make it. If I have not enough time, I can't make it. If someone want to make a new one ,substitute(instead of?) me, plase do so.(^^) (Edit: sorry my late.) To Dark Mana Wow,thanks, but I think that to see and do the fair judge is better, for this site and people.(^^;)

To CoolBumpty I can't understand perfectly, but maybe I can understand most of all. I think that you see my movie very carefully, and you admire me.Thanks! If I'm wrong, tell me so. (^^;) About Mother Brain(30sec): I think that MurderBeam is cause of "Slow-Down" in the game. But , MovieFiles's frame count is not Slow-Down. In the end, MovieLength is 30seconds faster. But ClearTime is slower than old...

I do believe your 27 minute any% run can be improved to 26 minutes, perhaps even more.
Wow, I was surprised!Really? BTW, to kill phantoon in one-round is very mysterious and wonderful. Hm, I know "Doppler" , but I have no idea, now.(^^;) Ok, I could understand your all of comments, thanks! And we'll wait your movie , or think about Phantoon.
I won't be making an any% run, I'll leave that up to you.
Oh,,I'll keep it in my mind.(^^;)
You'll be very surprised at how much more can be done to improve your time. My goal is to get there 10 seconds faster than you ;O)
If it will be truely 10 seconds faster , yes, I'll be very surprised! Thanks for reply!

Wow,your movie is 1second+9frame faster than mine, at getting MorphBall. I' want to see your complete movie. And , me and Sippu(My friend) would like to see your own tricks.so good luck. :) offtopic: May I ask you, michael flatley? If you try to make Any%-Movie, Do you think that to reach 00:26(Clear Time) is possible, or impossible? My idea is impossible, at least now... How about you?

You need the Ice Beam to kill the Metroids in Tourian quickly. Else you'd need about 12 Power Bombs.
Oh, it is accurate good idea. Thanks. :) Hm, getting SpazerBeam needs a few seconds.(not many I think.) So, to get all beam is better, I think.

Thanks for people.

From what I can tell, it's the same run until the end. Just with a better non-murder-beam ending than the other one he did.
This parts, you are right.
Here's a question, is it worth collecting the Spazer now if you're not going to use the murder beam? What about a Plasma-less run?
OK,I'll try to explain in detail. so please wait a minute. (Edit&answer) -About SpazerBeam , (and WaveBeam) Some small enemies(Frame 46000~,48300,and more many scenes) needs SpazerBeam's attack power. If Samus couldn't get Spazer, she can't beat them, quickly. And she couldn't beat Bosses, quickly. -About PlasmaBeam Most of the reason I need Plasma is same as Spazer. In the SuperMetroid, The Attack-Power is decided (with) number of weapons. Here is a list of Attack-Power of weapon(s). ...Whoops, I can't find the list, sorry. Hm,Do you need the list? If you need it, I can make it, but I need some days. (Edit2) Here is a easy list. http://type.s31.xrea.com/info/logimg/metroid/050319list.txt Hm, I think that I must need "Spazer and Plasma". I don't know about IceBeam, but maybe I need Ice,too. Does anyone have any idea?

This movie is 46:37. Published movie is 47:07. So it's 30 seconds faster - more than the submission text indicates.
This movie less One-Menu-Screen(Pause-Screen) than old one. Because I didn't use Murder-Beam-Glitch in this movie. Menu-Screen doesn't count "Clear-Time". So, "Length" is shoter than old one. But "Clear-Time(In the game)" is slower than old one. Hm, but SuperMetroid shows only Minutes. So, both movie's clear-time seems same. >By the way, welcome back, Terimakasih. :) Hi, I'm home. :) Edit and TNSe, good to see you too. :)

Thank you. But I think that it is hard (and troublesome) to translate my comments many times.(^_^;) I don't want to trouble to someone.

Learning from my comments is not good :P Naruto is anime(or Manga),isn't it? I can't imagine how these charactors speak in other country's language. --- Whoops, If I join a thread, the thread always will be off-topic... Let's go back to SimCity...

If someone could send me a savestate after scenarios are cleared for the US version. I don't want to do them.
Hm,Sorry I have only JP-Version(and savestate)... Rio de Janeiro is easiest scenario. San Francisco is very easy scenario. Boston is easy, too. Bern is easy, but it is a little troublesome. Detroit is not easy, but not hard.(Maybe) Tokyo is hard... I'm not good at TOKYO-Scenario... Lasvegas is very difficult, but you don't need to worry,as you know. you don't need to clear Lasvegas. And if you want to clear Lasvegas-Scenario,I can tell you how to. Anyway,If you use $999999glitch,you can clear all-scenario in easy.(^_^) You need about 1day to clear all-scenarios. (1day is enough to clear all-scenarios.) --- Or, I think someone has Savestate(SRAM?) of US version.(^_^;)

But I am not sure if I should do it with freeland that requires a savestate or custom map which doesn't require savestate and will probably more interesting to watch but the movie will be longer due to some events. What do you recommend?
Hm, how many population about your target? If your target is 600'000, I think you can't choice... To reach 600'000 in No.61 needs more time,I think. So, FreeLand is better. If your target is 500'000,I think No.61 is better. Because you don't need savestate, and you can reach(in easy), I think. Do you think which is better...? --- By the way, population 2'500'000 is possible in Map61,but it might need 1month over :P Not Movie-Creation-Time, 'Movie-Length' needs 1month over...

Thanks for your welcome, but I can't write English faster.(^_^;) I need a long time to write English, sorry. >Please don't be too hasty. >I undid your "cancel". Oh,I was surprised.(^_^;) But please don't misunderstanding, the reason of 'Cancel' is not "People don't like this movie.". The reason is my foolish mistake of my movie.(^_^;) (I noticed that this movie has very bad mistake.) And I didn't know about,,,'Nobody can post, when I canceled my submit',sorry.. (Edit) (Deleted)

I'm sure you can understand. http://type.s31.xrea.com/info/logimg/metroid/SampleSim.zip - 'Faster.smv' has no-object. - 'Slower.smv' has many-objects. Do you feel which is faster...?(^_^;) (Edit) >Anyways Terimakasih.. I'm not going to make those scenarios.
