Ah, I seem to have finally found the source of the awesome Snes9x improvements - I didn't know where they were coming from. ;-) Anyways, I know that you guys are all over video recording but since you are dipping deeply into the Snes9x code I wondered if anybody considered adding Kaillera support to this Snes9x version. No - not the original Kaillera which had an incompatible software licence - I mean the new Open Kaillera client based on P2P rather than a client-server architecture... http://okai.movsq.net/ I tested it on various other emulators already and it works amazingly well. The Snes9x netplay system always causes the client to experience epically crappy choppy gameplay, desyncs and connection drops so I think Open Kaillera would be a better option. What do you think? There's already a version of Snes9x with Kaillera support but it's very, very old...

Although I'd love for Snes9x to have netplay support, I think it'd be quite complicated to implement it. The coders would have to disable frame advance, pausing and speed changes, as well as implementing Kaillera. I'd really love it though, and I'm sure I'm not the only one :)
