| Puyo Puyo is an extremely popular puzzle game in Japan similar to Tetris in some ways. By making a chain of 4 or more Puyo's, they explode and deliver garbage onto the opponent's screen. This run produces combos strong enough to completely overwhelm the competition every time.
This game style has been released under other names such as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and Kirby's Avalanche, but the core gameplay is the same. | ||
