Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the sequel to the Sorcerer's Stone for the Game Boy Color released on November 5, 2002. This game is similar in gameplay to the original game with it's turn-based RPG combat system, but now allows use of Harry Potter's two best friends Ron and Hermione in his party in order to help fight creatures. This is the last game that was made for the Game Boy Color.
In this run, SuperMonkeypotato and jlun2 traverse through Hogwarts to once again gain the most points for Gryffindor.
If you're interested in the first entry of the series on the Game Boy Color, check out this run by jlun2 which goes through the game as fast as possible.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a licensed role-playing game for the Game Boy Color and an adaptation of the book of the same name. As with the Game Boy Color version of The Sorcerer's Stone, it uses a turn-based combat system that has Harry fight off even more monsters than in the original book, along with the usual minigames and collectable Chocolate Frog Cards. This time around, Harry has Ron and Hermione to help him out in his quest to solve the mystery behind the Chamber of Secrets in this unusually faithful adaptation.
In this run, jlun2 and SuperMonkeyPotato once again perform forbidden dark magic in the form of memory corruption by going in and out of the Gryffindor Common Room multiple times until the credits suddenly appear. For the details on how this glitch works and the hard work that was done to achieve this, you can read the authors' notes.
The baseline tab shows the default movie beating the game as fast as possible without any special conditions.
