Author's comments and explanations:
Complete run on HARD difficulty with no damage taken (which is very difficult to avoid especially in the overhead sections). Not 100% kills but with the overhead stages this isn't possible due to respawning. Overhead stages are therefore done with speed in mind. Side scrolling stages are done with as many kills as poss in mind, and beating the bosses ASAP.
Comments from TXT with additions:
Run lasts around 18:39 seconds (take off 15 for the title screen), recorded using and requires v8 of Jyzero's modified Gens (since converted to v9). Be sure to select 44100 hz sample rate audio output, otherwise synchronisation may be compromised.
Improvements? Maybe you can gain seconds by ignoring the weapon dropships in the overhead levels, but then said levels become MUCH harder to cope with later on. I miss the odd missile here and there on the side-scrolling levels. Without hunter these are impossible to kill. There is no way to get hunter earlier in the game, and weapons from top-view levels don't carry over to side-view levels. After this movie finishes, you'll eventually get back to the title screen. Press A+START to get to the options. You will then be able to select and start on ANY level from 1 to 9. Good luck trying 9. ;P

Bisqwit: Your comments on this submission were quite brief. I see you had some kind of .txt file inside the .zip file, but I didn't read it because the zip should only contain your movie, and all the comments should be written here.

Chis: Added comments.
