About the Goal
This TAS gets all disks, sub-tanks and all Ex-Skills (100%), it also gets a special rank when the final stage ends (Disk Capturer) and unlocks Ultimate Mode afterwards.
Each stage has 10 disks and the Resistance Base has 20 disks, giving a total of 180 disks. In difference between the other Zero Series Games (Z1 and Z2), getting 100% requires going back to the other stage because of some pre-requisites, wich is why i choosed this game instead.
Why I did such TAS? Because I thought this TAS is a realy good challenge to do, it involves some difficulty to get disks and don't loose any frame/time becuase some disks are in a really odd position. And about the weapons, some disks or enemies drops them, but using slashing attacks delays the drop, because the enemy/box does an slashing animation and then drops them, making me loose time. But in other cases, like Charged Saber or Recoil Rod makes them drop the disk instantly.
How To Get Disks? Some are in an specific position, some are in an specific boxes you have to destroy first, and some requires killing one type of enemy an specific number of times and the last drops them (the type of enemy depends on the mission).
About the Disks on the Resistance Base, some disks requires certain bosses to be beaten first, but when certain bosses are beaten, some disks are lost, thus making 100% impossible, this is why i divided the disk collection in 3 separate runs.
About the Ex-Skills, it requires Zero to be Rank A or S in the previous mission, wich is calculated with the performance in the stage. I had to be sure that i get one of these 2 Ranks before ending the mission calculating it myself using a Excel [dead link removed].
There are also 2 Sub-Tanks in 2 stages.
About the run
This run gets all items, with means it collects "disks", this is the route used:
-Omega
-Hellbat Schilt
-Blazing Lizard
-Childre Inarabitta
-Deathtanz Mantisk
-Baby Elves (Part 1)
-Hanumachine R
-Blizzack Staggroff R
-Anubis Necromancess V
-Copy X Mark II
-Glacier Le Cactank
-Cubit Foxtar
-Tetrista Kelverian
-Volteel Biblio
-Baby Elves (Part 2)
-Omega Zero
The main purpourse of this route is:
  • In the First Set of Bosses:
Beat Hellbat ASAP to get his Ex-Skill (SaberSmash), it becomes realy usefull because it does 8 more damage (12 if its effective) after Zero uses his Triple Slash on Bosses/Mid-Bosses. And also get one elemental chip (Electricity Chip) in the second boss.
  • In the Second Set of Bosses:
Beat Hanumachine ASAP to get his Ex-Skill (SplitHeavens), it is another attack that does 7 more damage (10 if effective) after Triple Combo and can be used before SaberSmash.
Bear Blizzack after Hanumachine to get his Ex-Skill (Blizzard Arrow), it becomes usefull on getting some disks and can be used to finish Anubis faster.
  • In the Third Set of Bosses:
Beat Glacier ASAP to get his Ex-Skill (OrbitShield), it does 6 more damage (9 if effective) at the beginning of any combo, becoming realy usefull, and it looks awesome.
Beat Foxtar after Gaclier to get a Double Jump Boots, that is realy usefull afterwards.
Beat Kelverian after Foxtar to get his Ex-Skill (GaleAttack), it is insanely usefull, it connects 3 hits (if Charged Slash is not used, otherwise, it'2) and does 6 damage per hit and it can be used after OrbitShield and before SplitHeavens.
About manipulation
Manipulation in this game is about bullet shooting, each bullet you shoot makes enemy drops and bosses attack pattern to change, they change RNG as soon as they get out of screen or hit something, an alternative is to do a many walljumps as possible, each one changes the RNG.

sgrunt: Submission file replaced with a 34 frame faster version at the request of the author.

Nach: Great run of a game that's real popular with the kids. Very entertaining, good audience response. Accepting.

Aktan: Since I'm already working on an encode of this, processing...
