Comments

This is yet another Sonic Advance run and yes, it is with Knuckles again! This is a 3702 frame improvement over the previous run. While it doesn't make use of the Ultra Dash, it also uses its fair share of glitches that gives Knuckles a pretty good chance at beating the game in record time.

Stage by stage comments

Neo Green Hill 1 - 0:21:92

Not much to say about this level aside from optimized original strat.

Neo Green Hill 2 - 0:37:90

Same strat as previous run, but more optimized

Secret Base 1 - 0:34:28

I optimized most of the strat and this is where Zeupar lended me a hand and his input with the last few seconds of the level which helped lead to a faster time.

Secret Base 2 - 0:57:75

A few changes here and there, but mostly the same.

Casino Paradise 1 - 0:25:92

Better manipulation of the lights, bumpers, and the moving platform along with further optimization and a few tweaks. A glitch similar to the "No Ultra-Spindash" TAS by Mukki is used near the end of the level.

Casino Paradise 2 - 0:41:63

Not as much changes in this level... just better optimization.

Ice Mountain 1 - 0:44:25

A few tweaks here and there, along with a idea thought of by Zeupar, but the rest is optimizing the same strat.

Ice Mountain 2 - 0:55:97

Mostly route optimization.

Angel Island 1 - 0:26:67

Angel Island 1 is one of two levels where a glitch had to be exploited for a faster time. It also the only death in the run. There is a change in the beginning of the level which lead to a faster path to the loop where the glitch is used.

Angel Island 2 - 0:53:98

Not much special here. Mecha Knuckles fight was better manipulated than in the last run.

Egg Rocket 1 - (displayed as 3:26:48 in game)

Ohh Egg Rocket, how I still and forever will hate you so! This run made use of a glitch that pushes Knuckles through the floor and causes the level to lose solidarity. Thus making it possible to complete it in one go. I have tweaked the strat a bit by changing the sequence of directions and then optimized the rest. Zeupar also did the very end of this level.

Cosmic Angel 2 - 0:56:10

Optimization of the same strat.

Final Zone - 0:44:37

Eggman 1 and Eggman 2 were, again, no problem. The final boss, however, was still a pain due to trying for manipulating which weapon he attacks with! I had gotten much better manipulation with the final boss this time around so I was able to end movie much earlier than in the previous run.

Other comments

Major Thanks to: Zeupar - Giving support and even lending me your final inputs for a few levels. Toothache - You're still a wonderful motivator! Mukki - For without your help and your lua script, I would not have gotten very far. :) footbigmike - For your strat for Egg Rocket 1 that I ended up modifying a bit~
