About the game
Metal Max is a classic RPG that released by DATA EAST in Japan in the year 1991. It's famous for it's two modes of battle including human-battle and tank-battle. The high degree of freedom is also a significant feature in this game. The background of the story is set in future that a major disaster occurs on Earth and many monsters rampage everywhere. The hero pursues his dream of becoming a hunter and be kicked out the house by his father.In this game there are eight tanks available for collection and eleven wanted available challenge. The final condition to complete the game is to defeat the boss Noah and go home then you will see the Chinese characters "完" means "The End" after a long trailers video.
This movie mainly used three major bugs. The first,the hero and partner gets on the same tank at the same time will copy a tank. The second, when use a pharmacy to trailer the ATK of the hero will be close to the maximum. The third, after fire a panic shell to an enemy by tank there will be a chance to make it into confusion and then the emeny may escape the battle even commit a suicide explosion.
The improvement
Half a year ago I submitted a movie in 25:07 of this game and it finally published. But now I find there is still space to improve. Mainly two important improvent made the route simplified.
- I bought the Dog System(teleport) in a Secret Camp which near the main street during the middle game. In last movie I bought it in the fifth villages. Because of lack of money at that time, I had to take a detour and pick up money in the grass. And In order to buy this thing, I had to take a long time in the fifth villages because the place is not small. Now buy it in the Secret Camp, it is obviously saved time. Besides, an earthquake would have occurred near the Secret Camp and usually cannot be avoided. But I entered the Secret Camp before it, the earthquake was avoided.
- In last movie, I had to take a long detour to buy panic shells. This time I found a substitute which called “dud”. Usually a dud is no use to do anything but in extreme case it will produce the effect of any kind of special shells. Although this probability is very small, panic shells can be replaced by dud by a heavy luck manipulations. The place I bought dud is also near the main street and it saved a lot of time.
